Tempe, Ariz.-based computer company MicroAge Inc. filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Court protection, citing a decline in sales and a tightening of credit.
Spokeswoman Michelle Gorel said the move would not affect the approximately 400 employees at the company's Las Vegas call center.
She said the call center is part of MicroAge Teleservices, a MicroAge subsidiary, and that the bankruptcy doesn't affect the subsidiary.
Nasdaq halted trading in the company's stock Thursday as it hit an all-time low of $1.88. At its 52-week high, the stock sold for $9.25.
