Beverly L. Amsden
Beverly L. Amsden, 74, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. She was born Oct. 20, 1925, in Boise, Idaho. A resident for five years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Rena Perlowski of Las Vegas and Linda I. Amsden of Seattle; two sons, Wilfred G. Amsden of Mountlake Terrace, Wash., and Ralph L. Amsden of Centreville, Va.; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled 4 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
Vernestine Carter
Vernestine Carter, 54, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. She was born June 11, 1945, in Wilmar, Ark. A resident for 28 years, she was a linen room attendant for a hotel.
She is survived by two sons, Clarence Ragland of Las Vegas and Larry Ragland of North Las Vegas; four brothers, Earl Ingram of Warren, Ark., Ov Ingram of Memphis, Tenn., LeRoy Ingram of Milwaukee and Otis Lee Ingram of Wilmar; one sister, Erma Bell of North Las Vegas; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 10 am.-5 p.m. Friday in Ebenezer Church of God in Christ, 1072 W. Bartlett Ave. Services are scheduled 11 a.m. Saturday in Ebenezer Church. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.
Susan Jene Cohen
Susan Jene Cohen, 52, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 24, 1947, in Wisconsin. A resident for 1 1/2 years, she was a nurse.
She is survived by her husband, David; two sons, Jay Servis and Jerremy Servis, one daughter, Lori Rurcell and one brother, William Teneglia, all of Milwaukee; and five grandchildren.

John J. Coleman
John J. Coleman, 74, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born June 9, 1925, in Medford, Mass. A resident for 11 years, he was self-employed in sales and repair and was a World War II Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn; three sons, Kevin Coleman of Bakersfield, Calif., Tim Coleman of Seattle and Brian Coleman of Juniper Hills, Calif.; two daughters, Diane Olsen of Juniper Hills and Judy Coleman of Newhall, Calif.; one sister, Ann Matthews of Quincy, Mass.; and five grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4 p.m. until a 7 p.m. rosary today in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Services will be 9:30 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave.
Bernard Davis
Bernard Davis, 50, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born July 13, 1949, in Chicago. A resident for 27 years, he was a sand and gravel truck driver.
He is survived by his wife, Jackie; his parents, Bernard and Doris Davis, and one sister, Debbie Boey, all of Chicago; and three brothers, Richard Davis of Las Vegas, Gregg Davis of Billings, Mont., and Jeff Davis of Chicago.

Derek Scott Deyarmond
Derek Scott Deyarmond, 19, of Las Vegas died March 27 in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 13, 1981, in California. A resident for six years, he was a plumber.
He is survived by his parents, Linda Gann-LaTorrie of Sonora, Calif., and Bruce Deyarmond of Las Vegas; one sister, Joanna LaTorrie of Sonora; and one brother, Jonathon Deyarmond of Las Vegas.

James Edward Freese Sr
James Edward Freese Sr., 56, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born June 25, 1943, in Harrisburg, Pa. A resident for five years, he was employed at the Furniture Store for 4 1/2 years and was a Vietnam War Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his fiancee, Sandra Phillips; three sons, James Freese Jr. of Lake Charles, La., Blaine Freese and Lester Freese, both of Lafayette, La.; his mother, Grace Freese of Reamstown, Pa.; one brother, Richard Freese of Overland Park, Kan.; one sister, Carol Warner of Akron, Pa.; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service was scheduled 2 p.m. today in Nevada Funeral Service, 725 S. Casino Center, Suite 208.
Hubert T. Garrison
Hubert T. Garrison, 83, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. He was born July 17, 1916, in Sentinal, Okla. A resident for 40 years, he was a retired bus driver.
He is survived by his wife, Eula Garrison; two sons, one daughter and one brother.
A memorial service is scheduled 10 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.
Joseph H. Goodale
Joseph H. Goodale, 90, of Boulder City died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born May 29, 1909, in Lancaster, Mass. A resident for 24 years, he was a retired university nurseryman and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Ada C.; two daughters, Mollie A. Johnson of Riverside, Calif., and Kim Hogan of Apex, N.C.; and one grandchild.

Sherry J. Goodale
Sherry J. Goodale, 51, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 14, 1948, in Wisconsin. A resident for six years, she was a secretary for an insurance company.
She is survived by two sons, Brian and Christopher Bacha; and one brother, Phillip.

Robert Douglas Hayes
Robert Douglas Hayes, 53, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 31, 1946, in Connecticut. A resident for one year, he was a security guard.
He is survived by three sons, Brian Hayes of Vernon, Conn., Matthew Hayes and Joshua Hayes, both of Westfield, Mass.; two daughters, Lisa Hayes of Vernon and Christina Hayes of Westfield; two brothers, Ralph Hayes of Las Vegas and Gilbert Hayes of Broadbrook, Conn.; one sister, Elizabeth Williams of Springfield, Mass.; and two grandchildren.

Pleas Johnson Jr.
Pleas Johnson Jr., 60, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 1, 1939, in Egpty, Texas. A resident for 32 years, he was a mechanic in the mining industry and a Vietnam War Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Jessie; one daughter, DeShon Johnson of North Las Vegas; one son, Dione Johnson of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon-8 p.m. Friday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services are scheduled 11 a.m. Saturday in Victory Baptist Church. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Raymond A. Larsen
Raymond A. Larsen, 81, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 24, 1919, in Salt Lake City. A resident for 52 years, he was the president of Larsen Electric Sign Company for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Ardene; two daughters, Tina Heinkel of Mt. Vernon, Wash., and Ada Heinkel of Temecula, Calif.; one son, Richard Larsen, one brother, Jack Larsen, both of Las Vegas; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services are scheduled 3 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will follow.

Constantinos N. Lymberopoulos
Constantinos N. Lymberopoulos, 72, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. He was born Sept. 7, 1927, in Los Angeles. A resident for nine years, he was a retired manager for Hillerich and Bradsby, a sporting goods company, a World War II Army veteran and a member of Ahepa (American Helenic Educational Philanthropic Association).
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lymberopoulos; two daughters, Kathryn Araklisianos of Saugus, Calif., and Irene Greanias of Valencia, Calif.; one son, Nicholas Lymberopoulos of Northridge, Calif.; and six grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 4 p.m. until a 6:30 p.m. Trisagion service today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services are scheduled 10:30 a.m. Friday in St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church. Graveside services are scheduled noon Friday in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
The family suggest donations to the American Diabetes Foundation in his memory.

Ofelia Mauri, 84, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born March 6, 1916, in Cuba. A resident for 9 1/2 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Gladys Portal of Las Vegas.
Visitation was scheduled 1-4 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services were to follow.
Phyllis Menaker
Phyllis Menaker, 89, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 16, 1910, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. A resident for 46 years, she was a retired translator for an advertising firm.
She is survived by her husband, Bernard Menaker of Las Vegas; two sons, Edward Santiago of Queen Creek, Ariz., and Gary Menaker of Las Vegas; one daughter, Katherine Hatfield of Stocton Springs, Maine; two sisters, Doris Jarrett of Bethesda, Md., and Aida Angel of Atlanta; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Ruth Nowlin
Ruth Nowlin, 81, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 9, 1919, in California. A resident for 30 years, she was a dry cleaner presser.
She is survived by one niece, Pauline Karidakes of Riverside, Calif.; and one nephew, Raymond Morrow of California.

Valerie A. Robinson
Valerie A. Robinson, 54, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 5, 1946, in Burbank, Calif. A resident for 38 years, she was a retired flight attendant for Hughes Air West.
She is survived by her husband, William; one daughter, Heather, and one son, George, both of Las Vegas; and one sister, June Gobble of Idaho.
Graveside services were scheduled 11:15 a.m. today in Paradise Memorial Gardens. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., handled arrangements.
Jacqueline Marguerite Sansone
Jacqueline Marguerite Sansone, 71, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 6, 1928, in Nancy, France. A resident for 24 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Ignance "Ned"; one son, Philip R. Sansone of Las Vegas; and one sister, Marie Louise Broncard of Nancy.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Additional visitation is scheduled two hours prior to 3 p.m. services Saturday in Palm, Eastern. Burial will be in Palm Valley View Cemetery.
The family suggests donations to the City of Hope, 1500 E. Duarte Road, Duarte, Calif., 91010.
Ferris McKay Williams
Ferris McKay Williams, 70, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 19, 1929, in Greenville, S.C. A resident for 28 years, he was a retired education teacher, a Korean War Marine Corps veteran and a member of the Elks.
He is survived by one daughter, Allison Aull of Willmington, Del.; two sons, Derek Williams of Clarksville, Tenn., and Douglas Williams of Las Vegas; three sisters, Dorothy Wittman and Marie Rousseau, both of Tucson, Ariz., and Martha Willis of Greensboro, N.C.; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled 2 p.m. Friday in Hallelujah Christian Fellowship, 3630 N. Rancho Drive. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Conception "Connie" Wiseman, 87, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 6, 1913, in Brownsville, Texas. She was a cook.
She is survived by her husband, Chester; one daughter, Stella Ortega of El Paso, Texas; one sister, Juanita Perez of Texas; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled two hours prior to a 6 p.m. rosary Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services are scheduled 11 a.m. Friday in St. Christopher's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
