Kristen Go, a product of the Reynolds School of Journalism, is part of a team of reporters from the Denver Post who earned a Pulitzer for breaking news coverage of the Columbine High School shootings.
Go is the sixth graduate from the UNR J-school to win a Pulitzer.
She calls the celebration in the Post's newsroom a bittersweet one because of the tragic nature of the story.
Go was considered one of the nation's top high school journalists during her pre-college days at Stockton, Calif., and was on the dean's list during all four of her years on the Reno campus.
