Letter: Casinos know gamblers well

He made one of the dumbest statements that I have ever heard. He says corporations should stay out of the gambling business: "These people will never understand the minds of gamblers."
They do understand, that's why they are so successful. They know that all gamblers are greedy people trying to get something for nothing.
They seldom ever quit when they are winning. They always want a little more and their greed beats them every time. The late Guy McAfee, founder of the Golden Nugget, once told me: If it wasn't for greedy people I would be out of business.
Yes, John, they do understand the minds of gamblers.
