CAT to provide transit to rodeo

Valley residents planning to attend the Clark County Fair and Rodeo in Logandale can catch a ride via the Regional Transportation Commission.
The Citizens Area Transit system is providing direct service to the fairgrounds. The buses will depart from the Clark County Government Center, 500 S. Grand Central Parkway.
On Thursday and Friday the buses will depart at 3 and 5 p.m. Buses will return from the fairgrounds at 8 and 10 p.m.
On Saturday and Sunday the buses will depart at 9 and 11 a.m. and 1, 3 and 5 p.m. Buses will return at 11 a.m., 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 p.m., with an additional departure at 11 p.m. Saturday.
CAT service will also be available to all Las Vegas Motor Speedway NHRA Drag Racing events this week.
Buses to the speedway will depart from bay No. 2 at the Downtown Transportation Center, 200 S. Casino Center Drive.
On Thursday buses will depart hourly from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Buses will return hourly until 8 p.m.
On Friday buses will depart every half-hour between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. and return on the half-hour until 10 p.m.
On Saturday buses will depart every 20 minutes from between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Buses will return every 20 minutes until 8 p.m.
On Sunday buses will depart every 15 minutes from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. They will return every 15 minutes until 7 p.m.
Bus fare for service to the fair and to speedway events is $3 each way or $1 plus a valid transfer from any other CAT route or $1 plus a monthly bus pass.
