Amanda Mae Allen
Amanda Mae Allen, 61, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 3, 1938, in Stanton, Neb. A resident for 20 years, she was a retired dispatcher in the towing industry.
She is survived by three daughters, Corinne Hyde, Lillie Proctor and Rosalie Williams, all of Las Vegas; one son, John Hyde of Grants Pass, Ore.; her mother, Lillie Barlow of Las Vegas; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Nora Baker
Nora Baker, 74, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 29, 1926, in Ohio. A longtime resident, she was a department store sales clerk.
She is survived by one son, Thomas L. Baker of Las Vegas.

Roy Bledsoe
Roy Bledso, 59, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. He was born Nov. 5, 1940, in Oklahoma. A longtime resident, he was a veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Louise; two sons, Larry Bledsoe of Henderson and Sean Bledsoe of Phoenix; and his mother, Eva Bledsoe of Mesa, Ariz.

Pat Broderick
Pat Broderick, 58, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born July 23, 1941, in Chicago. A resident for 25 years, she was a retired owner/operator of the Flower Garden Florist.
She is survived by one sister, Maureen Broderick of Tiburon, Calif.; and one aunt, Evelyn McCaffrey of Las Vegas.
A memorial service is scheduled 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Bradford Chesier
Bradford Chesier, 27, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 15, 1972, in Nevada. A lifelong resident, he was a tile setter.
He is survived by his parents, Dorothy Cheshier of Las Vegas and Tom Cheshier of Texas; and two brothers, Dwayne L. Cheshier of Las Vegas and Tony Cheshier of Texas.

Max Johnson Cooper
Max Johnson Cooper, 80, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 21, 1919, in Overton. A lifetime Southern Nevada resident, he was a milkman, a World World II Army Air Corps veteran and a Pearl Harbor survivor.
He is survived by his wife, Norma; three daughters, Carma Hyde of Bountiful, Utah, Sandra Rogers of Gilbert, Ariz., and Kathleen Channer of Wisilla, Ala.; two sons, Jeffrey Cooper and Douglas Cooper, both of Las Vegas; two brothers, Eldon Cooper of North Las Vegas and William Cooper of Logandale; three sisters, Zelma Abbott and Myrtle Brown, both of Las Vegas, and Wanda Barnum of Logandale; 27 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 6-8 p.m. Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, and one hour prior to 11 a.m. services Saturday in Red Coach LDS Chapel. Burial will be in Bunker Memory Gardens Memorial Park.
Alex P. Coroneos
Alex P. Coroneos, 73, of Henderson died March 23 in Costa Rica. He was born March 2, 1927, in Phoenix. A resident for 58 years, he was a businessman, a Navy veteran and a member of the Henderson Boy and Girls Club.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, and one brother, Paul Coroneos, both of Henderson.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7:30 p.m. with a 6:30 service Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Additional services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Peter's Catholic Church, 204 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Burial will be in Palm Memorial Park.

Frank Doherty
Frank Doherty, 64, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born July 15, 1935, in Tonopah. A lifetime resident, he was an Army veteran, a member of the Moose and Eagles Aeri 1213, the American Arbitration Association and Independent Order of Foresters.
He is survived by his wife, Esther, and one son, Thomas Williams, both of Las Vegas; three daughters, Lorraine Grier, Donna Juncker, both of Las Vegas, and Leeann Juncker of Raymore, Mo.; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A memorial services are scheduled 11 a.m. Friday in Calvary Lutheran Church, 800 N. Bruce St. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
Annette H. Dromirecki
Annette H. Dromirecki, 80, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. She was born March 22, 1920, in Cohoes, N.Y. A resident for 48 years, she was a retired secretary for a metal chemical company and a volunteer at a senior citizens center.
She is survived by her husband, John; two daughters, Marilynn Mooso of Henderson and Lorraine Dischbein of Salt Lake City; four sisters, Estelle Gabrakewicz and Joan Beebe, both of Latham, N.Y., Mary Ann Messier of Worchester, Maine, and Bernice Conroy of Latham; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled 2 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Blanche Edwards, 88, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. She was born June 10, 1911, in Plymouth, Minn. A resident for three years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Annette Edwards of Henderson; one son, Richard Edwards of Hamilton, Ohio; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.

Sherri Fabry, 45, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. She was born March 11, 1955. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three sons, Steven Barlow, Tony Bowers and Joseph Orkwis, and one daughter, Tracy Fabry, all of Las Vegas; three brothers, Scott Gurevich and Michael Winslow, both of Las Vegas, and Andrew Gurevich of Oregon; and two sisters, Gina of Florida and Dawn Castellano of N.Y.
Services are scheduled 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St.

James W. 'Buddy' Gibson
James W. "Buddy" Gibson, 33, of Henderson died Thursday in Henderson. He was born Nov. 2, 1967, in Henderson. A lifelong resident, he was a trimmer in the upholstery industry.
He is survived by his wife, Tamara; one son, Randy James Gibson, three daughters, Kaylynn Nicole Gibson, Brittany Ann Gibson and Hailey Marie Gibson, his mother and stepfather, Barbara and Dale Bracken and his companion, Lori Formica, all of Henderson; his father, James Gibson of Florence, Ore.; two sisters, Ginny of Las Vegas and Brenda of Florence; one stepsister, Brenda of Salt Lake City; and his grandmother, Dorothy Shepherd of Las Vegas.
A celebration of his life is to be held 2 p.m. Saturday at his home.
Beverley Grant
Beverley Grant, 69, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born March 7, 1931, in Denver. A resident for 12 years, she was a retired registered nurse.
She is survived by her companion, Jerry Osburn of Las Vegas; one daughter, Tracy Rubin of Beverly, Maine; two sons, Scott Grant of Las Vegas and David Grant of Tustin, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled 4 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

James Leon Valentine Hendershot
James Leon Valentine Hendershot, 64, of Henderson died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 1, 1935, in California. A longtime resident, he was a teacher and a veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Renee; one daughter, Holly Jackson of California; his mother, Helene Hendershot of Glendale, Calif.; one sister, Linda Rote of California; and one grandchild.

Charles W. Hill
Charles W. Hill, 51, of Henderson died March 28 in Henderson. He was born Dec. 2, 1948, in Kansas. A resident for 10 years, he was a casino floorman and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Donna; two daughters, April Fajardo and Amber Rameriz; one son, Jeff Linthicum of Las Vegas; two sisters, Judy Tuft and Cheryl Lacey; and five grandchildren.
Graveside services are scheduled 12:40 p.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Ray Marrison Johnson
Ray Marrison Johnson, 63, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. He was born July 29, 1936, in Clinchco, Va. A resident for 34 years, he was a retired insurance agent and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Cecilia, one son, Ray M. Johnson Jr., and one daughter, Desia Rae Johnson, all of Las Vegas; two stepsons, Kahlan O'Hara of Chandler, Ariz., and Gavin O'Hara of Henderson; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Samuel J. Lagattuta
Samuel J. Lagattuta, 89, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. He was born June 13, 1910, in New York City. A resident for five years, he was a retired salesman in the food industry.
He is survived by one son, Ross Lagattuta of Las Vegas; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services are scheduled 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
Nicholas Niles Podar
Nicholas Niles Podar, 90, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born May 13, 1909, in Romania. A resident for 53 years, he was a Teamsters Union West Coast administrator, an honorary member of Nevada Constables Association between 1961 and 1975 and a recipient of the life membership award by the Fair Practice and Training Council.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy; one brother, Thomas Podar of Las Vegas; two sisters, Frances Nasea of Michigan and Silvia Schader of Covina, Calif.
Visitation is scheduled 8-9 a.m. Friday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will follow in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Sharon S. Ragland
Sharon S. Ragland, 36, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local care center. She was born Oct. 14, 1963, in Los Angeles. A resident for 27 years, she was disabled.
She is survived by two daughters, Anetra Ragland of North Las Vegas and Shaquan Reed of Las Vegas; three sons, Byron Ragland and Shamon Rogers, both of North Las Vegas, and Jaquan Landers of Las Vegas; her parents, Vernestine Carter of Las Vegas and Kenneth Ragland of Los Angeles; two brothers, Clarence Ragland of Las Vegas and Larry Ragland of North Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.
Services were scheduled at 1 p.m. today in Ebenezer Church of God in Christ. American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, handled arrangements.

Bev Reed, 68, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born Oct. 25, 1931, in Allen Park, Mich. A resident for four years, she was a retired real estate agent and a member of the Newcomers Club.
She is survived by her husband, Norman; four sons, Keith Frank of Austin, Texas, Kit Donnell of Los Gatos, Calif., and Mark Reed and Mike Reed, both of San Jose; four daughters, Kim Frank, Rebecca Webber, Pat Lewis and Jackie Pozzi, all of San Jose; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Kham Sinsarady
Kham Sinsarady, 86, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born June 14, 1913, in Vienthaine, Laos. A resident for seven years, he was a retired laborer.
He is survived by his wife, Boon, two daughters, Nith Sinsarady and Opsit Sinsarady, all of Las Vegas; one son Prasith Sinsarady; 30 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-5 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. and 4-5 p.m. Wednesday in Palm, Downtown. Services are scheduled 1 p.m. Thursday in Palm, Downtown.
Eiko Smith
Eiko Smith, 62, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 17, 1937, in Japan. A resident for 19 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Thad; two sons, Larry Smith of St. Louis and Allan Smith of Las Vegas; four sisters; and one brother.

Joan E. Snow
Joan E. Snow, 58, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born April 8, 1941, in Philadelphia. A resident for seven years, she was a food server at Treasure Island.
She is survived by her husband, Michael; two daughters, Jacqui Madanci of Absecon, N.J., and Dominique Thorne of Las Vegas; one brother, John Baumeister of Blackwood, N.J.; and three grandchildren.

Ruth Taine, 77, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born May 2, 1922, in South Carolina. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired restaurant clerk and a member of the Senior Friends of Las Vegas.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel; three daughters, Anita Dent, Barbara Bryan and Maria Rodriguez, all of New York; one sister, Inez Yard of Connecticut; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services are scheduled 10 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest.
Murray George Weidenfeld
Murray George Weidenfeld, 79, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born June 21, 1920, in New York City. A resident for four years, he was a retired owner/operator of a retail furniture store, A World War II Army veteran and a member of the Jewish War Veterans.
He is survived by two daughters, Susan Weidenfeld of New York City and Beth Fischer of Chino Hills, Calif.
Graveside services were scheduled 3 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
