Charles R. Alford
Charles R. Alford, 42, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 18, 1957, in New Orleans, La. A resident for five years, he was a woodwork craftsman.
He is survived by one daughter, Starr Marie Brown of Athens, Texas; his father, Robert Alford of Rossville, Ga.; his mother, Betty Tyree of Las Vegas; two brothers, Steven Anthony Alford of Las Vegas and Lionel Tyree of Henderson; four sisters, Barbara Adams of Livermore, Ga., Kathie Shepherd of Spanish Fork, Utah, and Cara Dockery and Mary Rasmunsen, both of St. George, Utah; and one grandchild.
A memorial service is scheduled at 2 p.m. Thursday at Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.
Myla Lamani Amie
Myla Lamani Amie, 4 months and 2 days, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 28, 1999, in Las Vegas.
She is survived by her mother, Denise Dixon, one sister, Myreona Amie, her grandparents, Brenda and Scottie Yancey and Michael and Marilyn Amie, all of Las Vegas; her great-grandparents, Lena Dixon, Elizabeth Barlow and Ellis Barlow, all of Hazelburst, Miss., Ruby Pilot, Johnny Patillo and Odessa Patillo and Curtis Amie, all of Las Vegas, and Emmitt Pilot of Los Angeles.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services are scheduled 1 p.m. Wednesday in Palm, Downtown. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
Kathryn Argyris
Kathryn Argyris, 76, of Henderson died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 4, 1923, in Seranton, Pa. A resident for five years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, George; four sons, Frederick Orellano of Orange County, Calif., Henry Orellano of Cape Coral, Fla., Richard Orellano of Moreno Valley, Calif., and Andrew Argyris of Lancaster, Calif.; one daughter, Jeannie Gomez of Moreno Valley; one sister, Jean Echavarria of Henderson; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services are scheduled 11 a.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Coredo Don Borla
Coredo Don Borla, 82, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 10, 1917, in Clinton, Ind. A resident for 79 years, he was a retired railroad conductor.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa, one son, Robert Borla, both of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services are scheduled 2 p.m. Wednesday in Palm, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Cemetery.
Ollie May Garland
Ollie May Garland, 89, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born April 12, 1910, in Pennsylvania. A longtime resident, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Emma Jane Garland of Las Vegas. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Brian L. Guitar
Brian L. Guitar, 55, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born March 12, 1945, in Michigan. He owned Business Buys Advertising Co. and was a Navy veteran.
A memorial service is scheduled 2 p.m. Thursday at Bunkers Mortuary Chapel.
He is survived by his best friend, Ester Guitar of Wisconsin; one brother, Stephen Guitar and three sisters, Jeanette Gregory, Joyce Taylor and Catherine "Kay" Goodman, all of Michigan.
Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Richard D. McCue
Richard D. McCue, 82, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 26, 1917, in New Haven, Conn. A resident for 37 years, he was a scientific material handler, had been a member of the Civilian Conservation Corps, was a World War II Navy veteran and Pearl Harbor survivor, was a Korean War Air Force veteran where he flew 50 missions, received the Purple Heart and was a member of the VFW and the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; one daughter, Patricia Alea of North Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-8 p.m. with 2 p.m. services Tuesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
Barbara Mesday
Barbara Mesday, 53, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born July 8, 1946, in Trenton, N.J. A resident for 20 years, she was a retired loan processor for a financial company.
She is survived by her husband, James Mesday, one daughter, Kimberly Boerio, one son, Scott Mesday, and her father, Henry Barclay, all of Las Vegas; her stepmother, Helen Barclay of Trenton; her mother and stepfather, Clara and Blackie Nakano of Downey, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

John Moore
John Moore, 68, of North Las Vegas died March 14 in North Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 9, 1931. A longtime resident, he he was a veteran.
Graveside services were scheduled last Saturday at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, handled arrangements.
Tom "Murph" Murphy
Tom 'Murph' Murphy, 49, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 27, 1950, in Coral Gables, Fla. A resident for 23 years, he owner a marketing business.
He is survived by his wife, Ginny, one son, John Murphy, and one daughter, Erin Murphy, all of Las Vegas; his parents, Tom and Carol Murphy of Florida; one sister, Teri Longley of Niceville, Fla.,; and one brother, Michael Murphy of Okinawa, Japan.
Services are scheduled 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Stephen Thomas Papcun
Stephen Thomas Papcun, 62, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 8, 1937, in Indiana, Pa. A resident for 14 years, he was an Air Force veteran and was in data processing.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline B.; one daughter, Christine M. Lederhos of Littleton, Colo.; one son, James S. Papcun of Kansas City, Mo.; one brother, George Papcun of Florida; four sisters, Ann Bailey, Rene Konarski and Sue Bender, all of New York, and Margaret Beliveau of Florida.
American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling private arrangements.
Maria Tiberti
Maria Tiberti, 88, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 10, 1912, in Wootton, Colo. A resident of 25 years, she was a registered nurse during her civilian career and was a captain in the U.S. Army Nurse Corp.
She is survived by one sister, Rosina Peterson of Santa Barbara, Calif, and one brother, J.A. Tiberti of Las Vegas.
Mass is scheduled at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Husband of Mary Roman Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave.
The family suggests donations to the UNLV Foundation for the Maria Tiberti Nursing Scholarship, P.O. Box 145-1006, Las Vegas, NV 89154-1006, or the donor's favorite charity.
Doris M. Troutman
Doris M. Troutman, 82 of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. She was born July 31, 1917, in Salt Lake City. A resident for eight years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara A, Badham and Beverly Glinski, both of Las Vegas; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Terri Diane Williams
Terri Diane Williams, 36, of Las Vegas died March 23 in a local hospital. She was born July 3, 1963, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, she was a medical assistant.
She is survived by her companion, Bobby Banks; one son, Dominique W. Williams; her parents, Curley Joe Asberry and Mary Williams; four brothers, Eddie D. Williams, Cleophis Williams, Anthony L. Williams and Antonio R. Asberry, and one sister, Ashley D. Turner, all of Las Vegas.
Services were scheduled last Saturday at New Light Baptist Church. Harrison Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.
Leo D. Wilson
Leo D. Wilson, 74, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born July 2, 1925, in Charlotte, N.C. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired aeronautical engineer for NASA and a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth; one son, Cary Wilson of Portland, Ore.; and 10 grandchildren.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
