RTC plans weekend information fairs

Clark County's Regional Transportation Commission is hosting a series of weekend fairs at local malls to help residents learn about public transportation alternatives and take comments on how to improve the system.

Each of the two-day events will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The first is Saturday and Sunday in the food court of the Belz Factory Outlet World, 7400 Las Vegas Blvd. South.

The second is scheduled Oct. 16-17 in the Sears court on the first floor of Meadows mall, on Valley View Boulevard at U.S. 95. The third workshop is Nov. 6-7 in the Disney court of Boulevard mall, 3528 S. Maryland Parkway.

The final session is 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 20 and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 21 in J.C. Penney court on the first floor of the Galleria at Sunset, 1300 Sunset Road, in Henderson.
