Florence Cavagnaro
Florence Cavagnaro, 89, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born June 28, 1910, in San Francisco. A resident for 30 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Bill Cavagnaro of Las Vegas; two daughters, Louise Gardner of Sonora, Calif., and Donna Krenn of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 6 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services are scheduled 1:30 p.m. Friday in St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave.
David Lee Doran
David Lee Doran, 79, of Las Vegas died Wednesday. He was born Sept. 28, 1929, in Michigan. A resident for 12 years, he was an electrician and an Army veteran.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Charlotte A. Dyer
Charlotte A. Dyer, 49, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 19, 1947, in Salt Lake City. A resident for 30 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Bruce; two sons, Troy E. Dyer of the Army in Hawaii and Kristian R. Dyer of Las Vegas; her mother, Jane Korpela, one sister, Gloria VanWorkem, and two brothers, Jay D. Korpela and Dennis Korpela, all of Salt Lake City.
Visitation is scheduled 6-8 p.m. Friday with a 7 p.m. service in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be noon Saturday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow at 12:45 p.m. Saturday in Palm Memorial Park.
David Palmer Ford
David Palmer Ford, 61, of Boulder City died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 29, 1937, in Rockford, Ill. A resident for eight years, he was an attorney, a member of the Nevada State Bar Association and California State Bar Association.
He is survived by his wife, Helen E.; three daughters, Robyn Ford-Rich of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., Kelly Lesseos of Liberty, Mo., and Elaine Heaukulani of Long Beach, Calif.; two sons, Michael W. Ford of San Diego and T.J. Ford of Apple Valley, Calif.; one brother, William Ford of Cleveland; and eight grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Monday in St. Andrew's Catholic Church, 1399 San Felipe Drive, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Pedro A. Garcia
Pedro A. Garcia, 89, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. He was born March 7, 1910, in Cuba. A resident for 30 years, he was a retired Las Vegas Hilton casino shill, a Cuban veteran and a member of Caballeros De La Luz.
He is survived by his wife, Rosa; one daughter, Nereyda Gutierrez, and one son, Franklin Garcia, both of Las Vegas; three brothers; two sisters; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today with a 6 p.m. service in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
Lillian Theresa Graham
Lillian Theresa Graham, 74, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born May 18, 1925, in New York. A resident for 12 years, she was a retired nurse.
She is survived by one son, Michael Graham of New York; three daughters, JoAnn El-Amin, Patricia Ann Graham and Linda Graham, all of Las Vegas; 30 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Robert H. Metz
Robert H. Metz, 56, of Laughlin died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 7, 1942, in Illinois. A resident for many years, he was an electrician and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his mother, Helen R. Morgan, and one sister, Lynda Metz, both of Bullhead City, Ariz.; and two brothers, Raymond Metz of California and David Lee Metz of Bullhead City.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Wednesday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Services will be 9:30 a.m. Oct. 7 in Hites Funeral Services. Burial will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Winifred E. 'Winnie' Mitchell
Winifred E. 'Winnie' Mitchell, 72, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 27, 1926, in Pennsylvania. A resident for eight years, she was a supervisor for Hughes Aircraft and a member of the Moose Lodge.
She is survived by her husband, Leo; three daughters, Pamala Whitney of Los Angeles, Sheila St. Aubin of Massachusetts and Deborah Sciascia of Washington state; one brother, Norman Neiswonger of Pahrump; one sister, Marion Willetts of Oregon; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. A private burial will follow.
Orla Kaye Murphy
Orla Kaye Murphy, 40, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 14, 1958, in Salt Lake City. A resident for 20 years, she was an administrative assistant for city government.
She is survived by one brother, Robert Murphy of Carson City.

Luis Pe
Luis Pe, 77, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 22, 1921, in the Philippines. A resident for six years, he was an accountant for the federal government and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Altagracia; three sons, Danny Pe and Mike Pe, both of Las Vegas, and Gerry Pe of the Philippines; one daughter, Louisa Pe of the Philippines; six daughters; one brother; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 8 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Woodlawn Cemetery.
John D. 'David' Pfau
John D. "David" Pfau, 47, of Las Vegas died Sept. 4 in San Bernardino, Calif. A resident for nine years, he was a truck driver.
He is survived by his companion, Gail C. Penny of Las Vegas; Gail's son, Matthew M. Penny; one brother, Thomas Pfau of Tucson, Ariz.; and two sisters, Cathy Radford of Tucson and Dolores Bayer of Indian Lake Estates, Fla.
A memorial service will be 4-5 p.m. Friday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Burial will be private.
Tina Marie Rojas
Tina Marie Rojas, 33, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 22, 1966, in California. A resident for four years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Vincent; one daughter, Miranda Saldana, and her mother, Nancy Medina, all of Las Vegas; two brothers, Andy Rivera and Art Rojas, and one sister, Gina Rivera, all of California.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Burial will be private.
Anthony Michael Salzano
Anthony Michael Salzano, 48, of Las Vegas died Sept. 10 in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 25, 1950, in New York. A resident for two years, he was a banquet server at the Flamingo Hilton and a Coast Guard veteran.
He is survived by his mother, Margaret McKinney of Las Vegas; two brothers, David Blakemore and Dominick Salzano; and three sisters, Rosemarie McArdle, Pauline Salzano and Ann Siorillo.

Willie Simmons
Willie Simmons, 97, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 12, 1902, in Louisiana. A resident for 57 years, she was a homemaker, devoted mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. John L. Simmons of the Greater St. James Baptist Church in Las Vegas.
She is survived by one daughter, Sharon Johnson, and one grandson, Timothy Johnson, both of Las Vegas; one niece and one nephew.
Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Greater St. James Baptist Church, 316 Madison Ave. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Noble A. Simpson
Noble A. Simpson, 73, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 20, 1926, in Leander, Texas. A resident for 38 years, he was a retired electrician, a World War II Navy veteran, a member of Local 357 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and Indian Springs Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Sula; two daughters, Carol Burger of Spicewood, Texas, and Martha Jacobsen of Las Vegas; one sister, Frankie Heath of Austin, Texas; three grandchildren and one great-grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling private arrangements.
Blanche C. Siren
Blanche C. Siren, 80, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. A homemaker, she was born Jan. 2, 1919, in Irvington, N.J.
She is survived by two sisters, Jean Polnik of Union, N.J., and Emily Lemish of Livingston, N.J.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
Betty Vaillancourt
Betty Vaillancourt, 72, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 27, 1926, in Chicago. A resident for 12 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Nancy Schnering of Las Vegas; two sons, Larry Vaillancourt and Robert Vaillancourt, both of Orland Park, Ill; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service was scheduled at 3 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
