Letter: Keller doesn’t see problems that many others do

This comment was made in regard to poll results that show that 37.9 percent of those polled felt that Metro officers discriminated based on race, gender, and economic status and 36.9 percent believed that, in light of recent police shootings, Vegas cops may be using excessive force.
Nearly 40 percent of those polled pointed out two serious problems; racism and cops who use excessive force, but our sheriff doesn't see a problem.
Clearly, these are alarming statistics. Jerry Keller is a public servant, as are the other 3,700 employees at Metro, and this poll should speak loud and clear to a "deficiency."
Citizens who have a complaint can call Metro at 229-3394 or address a letter to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Public Information Office, 400 E. Stewart Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89101.
