NSA Meeting moved
Monday, Sept. 27, 1999 | 11:50 a.m.
The Nevada Subcontractors Association shifted its meeting at 5 p.m. Tuesday to the the ALC Risk Management & Consulting offices at 11 West Pacific in Henderson.
The meeting was originally scheduled for different offices in Las Vegas.
NSCA was formed to promote the interests of subcontractors, specialty contractors and materials suppliers in the wake of complaints that many aren't being paid by some general contractors.
A major catalyst for NSCA's formation was the rash of liens filed by subcontractors against the Venetian and its general contractors, Lehrer McGovern Bovis Inc.
The agenda for Tuesday's meeting features an update on the Venetian case, including new information about more than $300 million in liens filed against the resort and Bovis.
