Clues sought in shooting death

Metro Police detectives are looking for clues in the shooting death of a Las Vegas man found in a vacant apartment.
An apartment complex security guard at 901 West McWilliams Ave. found the body of Steven Burks, 26, Saturday at 6:30 a.m., police said.
The guard told police he saw a vacant apartment with the door ajar, and when he went in he found Burks' body.
People living in the area told police that Burks had been seen around the apartment complex near Washington Avenue and Martin Luther King Boulevard many times.
Anyone with information about this shooting is asked to call police at 229-3521 or Secret Witness at 385-5555.
