StumbleWoman dies after accident
Friday, Sept. 24, 1999 | 1:05 a.m.
They said the woman was hit by a car Wednesday night at the corner of Kietzke and Peckham lanes. She died at Washoe Medical Center Thursday afternoon.
Her name has not been released because of difficulties locating relatives.
The woman received head injuries in the accident. Her daughter was treated for minor cuts and released.
The 4-year-old and her two siblings have been placed with juvenile services until a relative can be notified, police said. Lt. Jim Ballard said the woman was Taiwanese and her family could be out of the country.
