Barbara K. Abinsay
Barbara K. Abinsay, 72, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born April 5, 1927, in Keer Creek, Va. A resident for 22 years, she was a retired waitress.
She is survived by two sons, Joseph Lalisan of San Jose, Calif., and Paul Abinsay of Colorado Springs, Colo.; four sisters, Marion Jimenez, Doris Perez and Joyce Costosa, all of New York City, and Peggy Baird of Sumter, S.C.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 10 a.m. Sunday in Palm Chapel, Jones.
George Arthur Biggart
George Arthur Biggart, 79, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born April 29, 1920, in New York. A resident for seven years, he was an Army veteran.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Shirley Lewis Browar
Shirley Lewis Browar, 71, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born July 13, 1928, in Chicago. A resident for 30 years, she was a retired Broadway department store sales associate.
She is survived by her husband, Barry; one daughter, Alison Browar-Kasner of Henderson; one son, Scott Browar of Murrieta, Calif.; one brother, Frank Lewis of Chicago; and three grandchildren.
Visitation was scheduled noon-2 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., followed by graveside services in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Scherrie J. Burkhart
Scherrie J. Burkhart, 68, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. She was born April 18, 1931, in Bloomington, Ind. A resident for 21 years, she worked in the entertainment industry in public relations.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; two sons, Shelly Sondheim and Ben Sondheim, both of California; one brother, Gary Colvin of Nevada; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be Sunday at the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St. Valley Memorial Crematory, 745 W. Sunset Road, No. 16, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Fay Correa
Fay Correa, 36, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 24, 1962, in Hawaii. A resident for one year, she was a domestic violence counselor.
She is survived by her companion, Tessie Silver of Las Vegas; one son, Lenford Jardine Jr. of Hawaii; two daughters, Angela Jardine of Hawaii and Alicia Jardine of Las Vegas; her mother, Veronica Enitan, one brother, Ian Enitan, and two sisters, Penny Silva and Lorna Resquer, all of Las Vegas.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Hawaii. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
William Dyson
William Dyson, 77, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. A resident for many years, he was born April 23, 1922, in Birmingham, England.
He is survived by one daughter, Colleen Grande of Las Vegas.
No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Salt Lake City. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Betty Ann Fox
Betty Ann Fox, 69, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 12, 1929, in Texas. A resident for 38 years, she was a cashier in the gaming industry.
She is survived by two sons, Randy Cox and Robert Williams; two daughters, Beryl Salter and Toni Cox; one brother, Bud Fox; five sisters, Jean Williams, Bonnie Houston, Cheryl Stack, Sandra Barker and Mary Suitt; and two grandchildren.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling pending arrangements.
Patricia Bernardine Valois Devinny Frampton
Patricia Bernardine Valois Devinny Frampton, 82, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 1, 1916, in Salt Lake City. A resident for 37 years, she was a homemaker and an avid golfer who was very proud of her three holes in one.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Milton.
She is survived by one daughter, Saint Kay Medrano of Las Vegas; two sons, Kent and Roger, both of Whitefish, Mont.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Valley Memorial Crematory, 745 W. Sunset Road, No. 16, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Harold N. Frogner
Harold N. Frogner, 96, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local convalescent hospital. He was born Oct. 7, 1902, in Chicago. A former resident of Las Vegas for 32 years and most recently a Henderson resident for two years, he was a retired bus driver.
He is survived by one daughter, Marjorie Gustafson of Henderson; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was scheduled 2-5 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Albert M. Kyle
Albert M. Kyle, 84, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 10, 1915, in Mississippi. A resident for 42 years, he was a laborer at the Nevada Test Site.
He is survived by his wife, Roberta; two sons, Herman Kyle of Las Vegas and Earl Kyle of Los Angeles; one daughter, Clarice Kyle of Los Angeles; 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Services were scheduled this morning in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, followed by burial in Palm Memorial Park.
Margaret Mary Linebar
Margaret Mary Linebar, 67, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 31, 1931, in Middleport, Pa. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Selma Redburn of Las Vegas; two brothers, John Dombrosky of Pennsylvania and Edward Miller of Oregon; five sisters, Sally Nelson, Joan Heckman, Betsy Bowman, Sue Harner and Mary Benson, all of Pennsylvania; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling private arrangements.

Paul A. Martinez, 33, of Las Vegas died Aug. 15 in Las Vegas. A resident for three years, he was born April 16, 1966, in California.
Graveside services were schedule this morning in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, handled arrangements.
Caroline E. Nicholl
Caroline E. Nicholl, 79, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 24, 1919, in Chicago. A resident for 25 years, she was a retired telephone operator.
She is survived by three sons, Raymond Nicholl of Las Vegas, Herbert Nicholl of Dunnellon, Fla., and William Nicholl of Mundelein, Ill.; one brother, Carl Hallman of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two sisters, Shirley Sanders of Shumburg, Ill., and Deloris Richter of Lake Geneva, Wis.; and 21 grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4:30-8 p.m. today in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be noon Saturday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
Agnes Anna O'Hearn
Agnes Anna O'Hearn, 88, of Gibsonburg, Ohio, died Tuesday in a Gibsonburg care center. She was born Jan. 8, 1911, in Gibsonburg. A former Las Vegas resident, she worked for the Clark County Relief Administration, the National Catholic Community House and the Lucas County Relief Administration. She was an auxiliary policewoman in civil defense, a USO volunteer during World War II, served in the American Red Cross as a Gray Lady and was a Girl Scout troop leader.

Ethel Redford, 94, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. A resident for eight years, she was born Dec. 25, 1904, in Bamburg, S.C.
She is survived by one son, William Redford of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.

Miriam L. Donahue Reisinger
Miriam L. Donahue Reisinger, 93, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local convalescent hospital. She was born April 14, 1906, in Baltimore. A resident for 28 years, she was a retired civil service employee for the U.S. Customs House.
She is survived by one daughter, Patricia L. Connor of Las Vegas; six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Maria D. Sierra
Maria D. Sierra, 48, of Henderson died Thursday in Henderson. She was born July 16, 1951, in Mexico. A resident for six years, she was a room attendant.
She is survived by her husband, Antonio Sr.; one son, Antonio Sierra Jr., and four daughters, Patty Gonzalez, Juana Gomez, Martha Sierra and Blanca Sierra, all of Henderson; one sister, Nieves Mireles of California; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-9 p.m. today with a 7 p.m. rosary in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Hites Funeral Services. Burial will be in California.
Robert V. Stecklein
Robert V. Stecklein, 75, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 19, 1924, in Dubuque, Iowa. A resident for 41 years, he was a retired bar manager, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred B.; two daughters, Linda Cenicola and Mary Ann Belcher, and one sister, Dianne L. Dudeck, all of Las Vegas; two brothers, William Stecklein of Sparta, N.J., and Joseph Stecklein of Elk River, Minn.; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Edward William Stokes
Edward William Stokes, 91, of Austin, Texas, died Monday in Austin. He was born June 25, 1908, in Manila, Philippines. A former Las Vegas resident from 1978-1995, he was a retired owner of a movie theater, a World War II veteran of the Merchant Marines, a member of the Masons in Castro Valley, Calif., Zelzah Shrine and Scottish Rite, 32nd degree Mason, president of the Greeters with the Shriners and a Legion of Honor holder with DeMolay.
He is survived by two sons, Edward W. Stokes of Austin, and Henry Stokes of Glenwood Springs, Colo.; one brother, Alexander Stokes of Oakland, Calif.; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services were scheduled at 1 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., followed by burial in Palm Memorial Park.
Robert Maurice Zarling
Robert Maurice Zarling, 69, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born March 15, 1930, in Oshkosh, Wis. A resident for 14 years, he was a contractor.
He is survived by his wife, Bette; one son, Dan and Cynthia Zarling of Henderson; one sister, Mary Dobish of Oshkosh; and two grandchildren.
