Letter: Togliatti praised for job well done at pretrial hearing
Friday, Sept. 24, 1999 | 9:43 a.m.
Jennifer Togliatti, who presided over the pre-trial hearing in the death of millionaire Ted Binion, deserves credit for doing an outstanding job.
Her role as justice of the peace far surpassed my expectations. Clearly this was not a three-ring circus, as in the Simpson trial controlled by attorneys.
Togliatti's adjudications were fair and sound, with the wisdom of Solomon. Clear, razor-sharp explanations were given on each judgment after careful, lengthy study.
Personally, I'm proud to know we have a person of such a high caliber in our justice system as Justice of the Peace Jennifer Togliatti.
