Consumer finance company CitiFinancial announced a corporate name change.

The company, formerly known in Las Vegas as Commercial Credit, is part of the Citigroup of companies that includes Citibank, Salomon Smith Barney and Travelers Insurance. CitiFinancial specializes in personal and home equity loans and has nearly 1,200 offices nationwide.

As part of its name change, CitiFinancial kicked off its 'Change For Name Change' coin collection campaign to benefit the local American Cancer Society. Through mid-October, customers and the general public are invited to drop their change in the collection container at the company's office at 3250 N. Tenaya.
