Two members of the Boyd family have filed to each sell about $400,000 in stock of Boyd Gaming Corp.
Marianne Boyd and William R. Boyd, both vice presidents and directors of the company, have filed documents with the Securities and Exchange Commission to sell 66,650 shares of stock with a current value of $404,250.
The shares represent a minimal piece of each Boyds' stake -- Marianne Boyd holds 2.51 million shares, or 4.05 percent of the company, while William R. Boyd holds 2.47 million shares, for 3.98 percent control.
Rob Stillwell, company spokesman, noted that such sales were routine.
"We sell (shares) all of the time," he said.
