Although several races remain this season, the NHRA ET Bracket racing points season ended Saturday night at Las Vegas Motor Speedway's 1/4-mile dragstrip.
Bill Dudley moved from fourth to first in the Street division points standings, giving him the championship by just one point. He won the final round with an ET of 15.756 seconds at 88.42 mph over Dennis Evans who ran an ET of 17.157 seconds and 74.97 mph.
In an error-filled race, Kahea Woods won the final round of the motorcycle division. He broke out but his competitor, Gary Oaks, fouled. So the win went to Woods.
In the Pro division, Tim Arden won the championship despite not making it to the final round. Brandon Potts had an ET of 9.41 seconds at 143 mph. This was enough to beat Roger Baker who had an ET of 11.97 seconds at 117 mph.
The Sportsman race went to Dwight Machael who ran an ET of 12.954 seconds at 100.7 mph. The runner-up, Bob Coulter, ran an ET of 12.85 seconds at 108 mph.
