Maxfield named chairman of advisory council

Donald "Chip" Maxfield has been appointed chairman of the Lone Mountain Citizens Advisory Council, an advisory board to the County Commission.
Maxfield, a partner and executive vice president of Southwest Engineering, is a registered civil engineer with more than 19 years of experience.
As chairman, which is a two-year term, he will preside over council meetings and ensure meetings are properly noticed and run orderly.
