Adolph Beckx
Adolph Beckx, 73, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 28, 1926, in Henderson. A resident for one year, he was a retired procurement specialist in the aerospace industry, a World War II Dutch Air Force veteran and a member of the Boy Scouts of America.
He is survived by his wife, Amy Y.; one daughter, Patty Bench of Henderson; one son, Randy Beckx of Lake Forest, Calif.; two sisters, Annetha Peeters of Houston and Hayde Helmich of Hemet, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Virtease P. Brown
Virtease P. Brown, 76, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 21, 1923, in San Antonio. A resident for 25 years, she was a retired aircraft mechanic.
She is survived by one sister, Gloria Jean Lockett of Atlanta; one brother, Porter D. Mathis of Seattle; and two sons, Ralph Brown of Las Vegas and Roland Brown of California.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.
Ramon De La Cruz
Ramon De La Cruz, 65, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 8, 1933, in Manila, Philippines. A resident for 10 years, he was a dealer.
He is survived by his wife, Christine; three sons; three daughters; two brothers; three sisters; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today and 1-3:30 p.m. Saturday with 3 p.m. services in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Antoin Golmassian
Antoin Golmassian, 72, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 17, 1926, in Baku, Russia. A resident for 33 years, he was a retired hotel waiter.
He is survived by his wife, Greta; two sons, Robert Golmassian and George Golmassian, and one daughter, Virginia Martin, and one cousin, Fredric Apcar, all of Las Vegas; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. services Saturday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.
John Robert Kaelin
John Robert Kaelin, 25, of Las Vegas died Sunday. He was born Jan. 18, 1974, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was an iron worker.
He is survived by his wife, Tara; one daughter, Angelle Kaelin, one son, Dillon Kaelin, and his parents, Sharon and Walter Kaelin, all of Las Vegas; and his grandparents, Garfield Willett of Nevada and Manuel and Patty Payan of Las Vegas.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in the Alta and Jones LDS Chapel. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Gayle Ervin Krier
Gayle Ervin Krier, 61, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. He was born July 28, 1938, in Odessa, Minn. A resident for 18 years, he was a retired Air Force first sergeant and Vietnam War veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Yi Shia; two sons, Bobby Wang Krier of Maricopa, Calif., and Tommy Gayle Krier of Las Vegas; one sister, Gay White of Fargo, N.D.; and one grandchild.
Services were scheduled at 9:30 a.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., followed by graveside services in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Rosemary Layne Kurek
Rosemary Layne Kurek, 60, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 1, 1938, in Smithland, Ky. A resident for 12 years, she was a hotel runner.
She is survived by one son, Richard Yates of Las Vegas; three sisters, Dottie Everett of Corona, Calif., Peggy Petko of Mishawaka, Ind., and Stella Hancock of Paducah, Ky.; one brother, Glen Layne of Florida; and one grandchild.

Rose Loyd
Rose Loyd, 64, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 28, 1935, in Magdalena, N.M. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, John; two daughters, Pamela Reichert and Bambi Lane, one son, Larry Loyd, all of Las Vegas; three sisters; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Nick Mazzola
Nick Mazzola, 58, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 5, 1941, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 20 years, he was a dealer, a member of the Screen Actors Guild and the National Rifle Association.
He is survived by his wife, Josephine; two sons, Peter Mazzola and Nicholas Mazzola Jr., both of Henderson; and one brother, Peter Mazzola of Staten Island, N.Y.
Visitation will continue until 9 p.m. today and 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 130 N. Pecos Road, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
LeRoy Henderson Miller
LeRoy Henderson Miller, 61, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. He was born Dec. 28, 1937, in St. Michaels, Barbados. A resident for three years, he was a retired merchant seaman.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret L.; three daughters, Norine, Gina and Deborah, all of Barbados, and Paula of Liverpool, England; one son, Dean of Barbados; four half-sisters, three of New York and one of England; one half-brother of Barbados; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity.
Earl C. Moore
Earl C. Moore, 88, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local health care center. He was born June 29, 1911, in Roy, Wash. A resident for 64 years, he was a retired mobile home park owner-operator and World War II Coast Guard veteran.
She is survived by his wife, Violet R.; one son, Gary Moore of Las Vegas; one brother, Arthur Moore of Dunsmuir, Calif.; and four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will be noon Saturday in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest.
John N. Myers
John N. Myers, 77, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born June 7, 1922, in Greensburg, Pa. A resident for three years, he was a heavy equipment operator and a World War II Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Venice; one son, Jack Myers Jr. of Pennsylvania; two daughters, Marilyn Welsh of Pennsylvania and Linda Cricco-Beams of Las Vegas; two brothers, George Tarr of Florida and Harry Myers of California; one sister, Martha Tarr of Florida; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Dorothy Edythe Petersen
Dorothy Edythe Petersen, 70, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born March 8, 1929, in San Pedro, Calif. A resident for four years, she was a secretary and homemaker and member of the Sierra Club, National Ski Patrol and MENSA.
She is survived by two daughters, Susan Gregerson of Las Vegas and Janice Petersen-Smith of Citrus Heights, Calif.; one son, Lawrence Petersen of Simi Valley, Calif.; four sisters, Roberta Danniel of Napa, Calif., Beverly Anderson of North Hollywood, Calif., Pat Parker of Santa Maria, Calif., and Maryann Culbert of Cornville, Ariz.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Burial will be private.

Margaret Russell
Margaret Russell, 47, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 24, 1951, in Riverside, Calif. A resident for 10 years, she was a traffic control flagger for three years.
She is survived by her husband, Herbert W.; three sons, Eric Mattern of Nevada and Brian Humpert and Jason Haag, both of Henderson; four daughters, Michelle Jaynes and Tara Russell, both of Henderson, Desiree Goss of Las Vegas and Felica Russell of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico; her father, Robert E. Blake of Henderson; two brothers, Robert Blake of Colorado and Thomas Blake of Hesperia, Calif.; one sister, Barbara Blake of Riverside, Calif.; and five grandchildren.

Hilda Scott
Hilda Scott, 87, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 27, 1911, in British Columbia. A resident for 42 years, she was a retired gift shop owner-operator.
She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Gordon and Joan Molinelli, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Betty Hammel of Nararre, Ohio, and Madelyn Clouse of Louisville, Ohio; one brother, Ernest Atkinson of Tulsa, Okla.; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Rosary will be 6 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Visitation will be noon-2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Main. Mass will be celebrated 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic Church, 3050 Alta Drive. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
