Letter: Caring makes MDA telethon a miracle

This last weekend I had the honor of meeting people from all over the valley who showed up at the Boulevard Mall and the Santa Fe hotel-casino to help out in this year's Muscular Dystrophy Association Telethon.

It is truly amazing to watch these people work during the telethon. They display a spirit like nothing else on Earth. From the phones to the mailroom they got the work done.

As a client of the Muscular Dystrophy Association, I would like to thank everyone who has given their time and talents to help find a cure for the 40 neuromuscular diseases.

To the firefighters, the Armed Forces and all the groups and individuals, I would like to say you should feel proud of yourselves, because without your caring none of this would be possible.

Thank you Las Vegans for being there.
