Harrah’s, Rio offer inflight promotions

Two resorts that have invested in Las Vegas-based National Airlines have begun a scratch card promotion for passengers.

Harrah's Las Vegas and the Rio hotel-casino are joining the airline in offering prizes in its "Winners on Wings" promotion.

Beginning this month, scratch cards will be distributed on flights bound for Las Vegas. Top prizes include first-class travel for two on National to Las Vegas and two-night stays at the properties.

The companies also are giving away discounts at the Rio's Carnival World Buffet, tickets to Harrah's "Spellbound" show and discounts on future travel on National.

Harrah's and Rio are both owned by Harrah's Entertainment Inc. of Las Vegas.
