Authorities have issued a warrant for the arrest of a former Las Vegas Metropolitan Police officer who was accused of forcing prostitutes to perform sexual acts.
Arthur Sewall Jr. has failed to appear in court for the second time in a week. Sewall, 32, pleaded guilty in June to two felony counts of oppression under color of office.
In August, he was sentenced to five years probation and 45 days in jail. He has since moved to California and claims serving the time in jail will cost him his job.
This week's court appearance was schedule to resolve the sentencing issue.
