A group of young adults claim their rights were violated when police and security guards sought to stop them from distributing leaflets alleging police brutality.
Police said the youths were obstructing pedestrians.
The teens called an executive of the American Civil Liberties Union of Nevada to assist them in their dispute.
Last year a federal judge ordered police to permit leafletting at the Fremont Street Experience.
Police spokesperson Steve Meriwether said officers in the area and their supervisors have been sent an administrative notice explaining the rights of leafletters at the downtown attraction.
