Letter: New grocery store an improvement

Wednesday, Oct. 27, 1999 | 10:06 a.m.

Now we find a larger variety from which to choose, and many items not formerly available.

Raley's groceries are well displayed and the employees are helpful and courteous. If we ask for an item not available, they make every effort to order it for us.

Pricewise, for instance, bell peppers that used to cost 68 cents each are now four for $1. Asparagus now is 99 cents and had been $2.99 at Albertson's.

Raley's is a great improvement and criticism is unwarranted.
