America West Airlines announced a sale on its nine daily flights between Las Vegas and Orange County, Calif.
The airline said today it would offer fares ranging from $106 to $136 round trip, down from $174 offered previously.
Tickets must be purchased at least seven days in advance and require a Saturday-night stay. Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights.
The sale is part of fare reductions to three cities from Orange County's John Wayne Airport. America West also is reducing fares between Orange County and Sacramento, Calif., and Phoenix.
America West competes with American Airlines on the route between Orange County and McCarran International Airport. American matched the sale price.
