1st Race -- Tejan - 1st time starter by Gulch, nice worktab with most recent pair of nice 6-panel drills, Stevens on debuting Thoroughbred Corp. runner. Gaelic Thunder - 1st time starter by Thunder Gulch, another with solid works with nice gate drill on the 13th followed by most recent long 7-panel move, trainer Stute tabs Nakatani for debut. Value Play -- Harmony Bear
2nd Race -- Lady Luckster - No rally at twice this price in last, broke maiden before that, should go better at this level, hustling Espinoza stays. Simply Hot - 5-wide move and late for 2nd in last, stretches out now, should get good trip in this, Puglisi stays on Dominguez trainee. Value Play -- Bold Sienna Dancer
3rd Race -- Crows - Argentine import has finished 2nd in most recent three outings -- all on dirt -- since 3rd turf sprinting in U.S. debut four races back, Antley stays, sitting on a win. Pleasant Drive - Dueled lead and weakened to 4th at a mile on turf in last, even run in comeback before that, all 3 lifetime victories from 5 races on dirt, draws good rail post, Stevens takes over on Baffert trainee. Value Play -- Refried Dreams
4th Race -- Glity Moment - Even run when 3rd in last, 3rd at a mile first time routing before that, no rally sprinting in debut in only start on the green, route race experience now, trie lawn again, expect improvement here. Timequake - 1st time starter by Shadeed, solid steady works, starts career routing on lawn, bred in the royal for the trip, draws good rail post, gets first time lasix, Nakatani scales for father-in-law Dollace. Value Play -- Jekyll And Hyde
5th Race -- Before and After - Outrun at twice this level on turf in last, 3rd as the favorite before that, won half of prior 6 lifetime starts, drops to competitive conditions, Delahoussaye takes over on Carava trainee. Boulder Hwy - Well rated in gate-to-wire win in last, won with same tactics before that, steps up another notch here, draws good inner post, Garcia stays on Peterson trainee, a factor throughout. Value Play -- Marlwood
6th Race -- Luminous Prize - 3rd on Del Mar sod in last, freshened since raced, in the quinella half of 8 lifetime starts with a pair of wins, 2-for-3 at this distance, Antley returns on Lukas trainee. Rainbow Amethyst - 4-wide, stalked and 3rd on Bay Meadows lawn in last, 4th in prior pair of outings, runner up four races back, Stevens takes over for this, good spot for action. Value Play -- Golden Tassel
7th Race -- Mac Nicholas - 3rd in last and runner up before that---both at Fairplex, won at this trip at Golden Gate late-May, draws good inner post, drops into competitive level now, Nakatani takes over for this. It's Reality - Weakened and steadied in last, dueled and gave way before that, won three in a row at this level early spring, now drops back to competitive conditions, Garcia returns. Value Play -- Plumazo
8th Race -- Mula Gula - Won Bay Meadows BC Derby in last, won split turf stakes on opening day at Del Mar three races back, 2-for-3 on the green and 1-for-1 at this distance, Stevens employed by trainer Hollendorfer for southland stakes. Prime Timber - Got new lease on winning with switch to turf in restricted stakes over this course in last, in the quinella 7 of 9 career outings, life after Triple Crown run may be exclusive to green, Flores/Baffert team, outside post a concern. Value Play -- Fighting Falcon
9th Race -- Saratoga Assassin - Outrun at the fair in last, led and worn down when 2nd in best career effort at Del Mar before that, adds blinkers now and has two most recent bullet drills since raced, gets rail post, good spot for maiden breaker action. Precious Darcy - 4-wide and closing 2nd in last, 3rd before that, noted improvement in last pair of outings, good post, could trip out with diploma here. Value Play -- Peak At This
