Nine indicted by fed grand jury

Nine people were indicted by a federal grand jury Wednesday, eight of them for entering the United States after already having been deported.
Those indicted for unlawful reentry of a deported alien were Angel Cortes-Silva, Guadalupe Deniz-Lopez, Leobardo Loreto-Ramos, Miguel Camarillo-Vasquez, Miguel Ramirez-Vargas, Ramiro Meza-Casillas, Roberto Rodriguez-Sanchez and Jorge Mendoza-Rodriguez.
Also indicted Wednesday was Hiroyuki Sakai. He was indicted on charges of alien smuggling and using false immigration documents.
According to the indictment, Sakai brought three people into the United States for financial gain knowing that they had not received permission to come into the country.
Sakai also used a Japanese passport with another name on it when he attempted to gain admission to the United States, the indictment states.
