1st Race -- Megadeal - Dueled lead and held 3rd in last, dueled lead and 3rd in prior pair of starts, set pace and worn down when 2nd four races back, ready to graduate. Placing High - Dueled lead and no match late when second best in last, set pace and caught late while close 2nd at the fair before that, should be right with top pick throughout. Value Play -- Excessive Force
2nd Race -- Diamond Kris S - Nice worktab for return to the races, won at twice this level when last raced 18 months ago, well placed for a comeback victory here, Black returns on Mandella trainee. Innovative - Dueled lead and weakened in last, pressed pace while 3-wide and faltered when claimed before that, 3-for-6 at Anita, drops again and gets Pedroza now. Value Play -- Lord Rochelle
3rd Race -- Canyon Crest - Rallied from way off the pace to win by a neck at this distance on the main track in last, just missed when 2nd by a head for a tag before that, trys turf again and Pincay stays. Hushed Victory - Troubled trip from inside post and 3rd in last, set pace and close 2nd in only other turf try four races back, winning rider Solis returns, a forward factor throughout here. Value Play -- Lucky Molar
4th Race -- Coldwater Canyon - Dueled lead from between horses and runner up in needed outing in last, bullet drill on the 11th since raced, Flores/ Baffert team, had tightener, ready to graduate. Malabar Gold - 1st time starter by Unbridled, sharp works with pair of bullet drills on 8/11 and 9/19 among moves on the tab, good post, trainer Shirreffs taps Ramsammy for debut. Value Play -- Pizza N Beer
5th Race -- Sallys Pie - Steadied at the start and distant 4th at Fairplex in last, runner in prior pair of outings, won back-to-back starts before those, drops to competitive level for this. Six Times a Lady - Returns to races off an 11-month layoff with steady works, in the quinella 4 of 6 lifetime starts with a maiden win, P. Val. takes the comeback call for trainer Sise. Value Play -- Blue Eyed K.C.
6th Race -- Treasure Hunt - Speed, dueled and held to win gamely down this hillside off 3 month layoff in last, in the quinella in all 3 turf starts with a pair of wins and half of 8 career starts with a trio of victories, Stevens returns, bounce a concern. Son's Corona - 3-wide and just missed when 2nd by a nose down the hill in last, won at 7-panels on the main before that, in the quinella 9 of 14 lifetime starts with a trio of wins, certain to make late impact again. Value Play -- Cozar
7th Race -- She's Classy - Chase Chilukki with no success in Grade I Oak Leaf Stakes in last, won Fairplex stakes before that, in the money 5 of 6 lifetime starts, speedy filly draws rail post and winning rider Espinoza returns, no Chilukkis here. Classic Olympio - Bobbled at the start, recovered to win drawing away in daylight maiden breaker in last, runner up in only other two lifetime outings, certain to attend pace with top pick, may have enough talent to win right back, Solis/McAnally combo. Value Play -- Vote Getter
8th Race -- Bosque Redondo - 1st time starter by Mane Minister, steady works, good post, well placed, Solis tabbed by trainer Gonzalez for debut. Double Dollar Day - 1st time starter by Half a Year, swift works for debut with pair of bullet drills on the tab, trainer Canani employs Gomez for first-time run. Value Play -- Saratoga Affairs
