Dancers sue club over assault, rape

Two Las Vegas women sued Richard Snowden doing business as Tally Ho, alleging they were robbed and assaulted in the adult dancing club's dressing room because of an alleged lack of electronic security devices and personnel.
The plaintiffs said they were hired as dancers on May 21. The dancers said they were assaulted -- and one raped -- during an armed robbery because the dressing room allegedly lacked a lock and security personnel to guard it.
"It is our understanding that some, maybe more than one armed criminal went over the fence and held several people at gunpoint and assaulted one of them. Some money was taken from the people but there are no arrests yet," Tally Ho attorney Alan Lichtenstein said.
"We are concerned about (the rape victim's) safety and welfare and what had happened to her. Unfortunately, the perpetrators of this crime have not been caught. We believe the circumstances were tragic but not caused by negligence on any part of the company," he said.
"There was fencing, security and personnel at that time. We believe the security measures were adequate but that doesn't mean things can't be improved," he said.
