Barbara Jean Armstrong
Barbara Jean Armstrong, 66, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local health care center. She was born July 18, 1933, in San Francisco. A resident for 13 years, she was a retired registered nurse.
She is survived by two daughters, Bev Nessinger of Las Vegas and Jolene Vaine of Booneville, Calif.; one sister, Shirley Petersen of Santa Rosa, Calif.; and six grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Thomas Brice
Thomas Brice, 78, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. He was born Aug. 13, 1921, in Burlington, Vt. A resident for eight years, he was a retired merchandise manager in the entertainment industry and a World War II Army veteran.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 3 p.m. services Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Thomas 'Smily' Cole
Thomas "Smily" Cole, 47, of Pahrump died Saturday. He was born June 18, 1952, in Paducah, Ky. A resident for 36 years, he was a machine shop welder.
He is survived by his parents, Phyllis and Edward Oehler, and one brother, Ralph Oehler, all of Las Vegas; and two sisters, Vickie Cole of Pahrump and Nina Jansen of Temecula, Calif.
Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
John K. Godley
John K. Godley, 52, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local health care center. He was born March 18, 1947, in England. A resident for 36 years, he owned and operated a mobile cleaning business.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

David M. Keller
David M. Keller, 77, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born July 22, 1922, in Fremont, Neb. A resident for 4 1/2 years, he was a retired vice president of a wholesale/retail firm and a World War II Army Air Corps and Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Georgene; two daughters, Denise Walker and Toni Cherry, both of Las Vegas; three brothers, Conner P. Hartnett of Jersey City, N.J., William A. Keller of Panorama City, Calif., and Maurice Keller of Pacific Palisades, Calif.; two sisters, Marie Shamrell of Flagstaff, Ariz., and Helen Killilea of West Los Angeles; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

James 'Jay' Maloney
James "Jay" Maloney, 68, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local health care center. He was born Nov. 25, 1930, in Cohoes, N.Y. A resident for 17 years, he was a retired Air Force master sergeant and Korean War and Vietnam War veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Emily; one son, Jerry Maloney of Las Vegas; two daughters, Judy Chamberlain of Las Vegas and Jill Gadberry of Henderson; one brother, Donald Maloney of Cohoes; one sister, Ethel Mae Monteleagre of Bellevue, Neb.; and five grandchildren.

Carolyn Dorsey Thompson
Carolyn Dorsey Thompson, 74, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 10, 1925, in Newcomerstown, Ohio. A resident for 49 years, she was a retired hotel-casino cashier.
She is survived by one son, Woody Thompson of Las Vegas; one daughter, Dianne Booher of Indian Springs; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
