Rebels’ Pavicevic defeated

UNLV men's tennis player Vladimir Pavicevic fell in straight sets in the first round of the main draw of the ITA All-American Championships Thursday at Austin, Texas.
Pavicevic, ranked 39th in the nation, did not take advantage of a set point in the second and lost to 18th-ranked James Shortall of Mississippi, 6-2, 7-6. Pavicevic now moves into the consolation bracket and will face 77th-ranked Andrew Nisker of Vanderbilt today.
