Guy Vincent Adamo

Guy Vincent Adamo, 44, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 17, 1954, in New York. A resident for 21 years, he was a Tropicana hotel-casino floorman since 1985.

He is survived by his father, Vincent Adamo of Syracuse, N.Y.; one son, Andrew Simon Adamo; three brothers, Mark Adamo of Syracuse, N.Y., Joel Adamo of New Jersey and Vinny Adamo of San Diego; and four sisters, Jane Blackmere of Madison, Wis., Lisa Wendel of Greenlawn, N.Y., Mara Cavaliero of Las Vegas and Pam Bernabeu of Jacksonville, Fla.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. services Saturday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Virleana Brooks

Virleana Brooks, 59, of North Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 7, 1940, in Tallulah, La. A resident for 34 years, she was a custodian.

She is survived by one daughter, Virleana W. Hicks of North Las Vegas; two sons, Gary Williams and Antonio Brooks, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Bobbie Brooks and Mary Hunter, both of Alabama; and 11 grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the Word of Life Christian Center, 3520 N. Buffalo Drive. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Leonard D. Carlson

Leonard D. Carlson, 78, of Las Vegas died Oct. 1 in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 28, 1921, in Minnesota. A resident for 15 years, he was a heavy equipment operator and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by one brother, Donald Carlson of Minnesota.

Luis Castillo

Luis Castillo, 70, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 27, 1929, in Mexico. A resident for 31 years, he was a retired Caesars Palace waiter and a member of the Culinary Union.

He is survived by his wife, Perla; two daughters, Perla Woodard of Henderson and Sonia Castillo of Las Vegas; three sisters, Gloria Olague, Victoria Ruvalcaba and Elvira Castillo, all of Mexico; two brothers, Carlos Castillo of Anthony, N.M., and Hector Castillo of El Paso, Texas; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

Betty J. Cudahy

Betty J. Cudahy, 65, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local care center. She was born July 3, 1934, in Winslow, Ariz. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Beverly J. Vizcarra of Las Vegas; two sons, Michael D. Cudahy of California and Walter T. Cudahy of Las Vegas; two brothers, James McMillan of Oklahoma and William Gepner of Florida; two sisters, Anna Marie Stermer and Janice Hutchinson, both of Arizona; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 9:30 a.m. Monday in Palm Chapel, Jones. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Louie A. Ferguson

Louie A. Ferguson, 76, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local health care center. He was born April 7, 1923, in Sanger, Texas. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired chef and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by one nephew, Frank Fullen of Murrieta, Calif.; and two nieces, Carol and Pat.

Visitation is scheduled 3-8 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

Victor George Howard

Victor George Howard, 85, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospice. He was born March 28, 1914, in Chattanooga, Tenn. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired real estate broker and a World War II Marine Corps veteran with the Night Fighter Squadron 542.

He is survived by his wife, Nell; one daughter, Victoria Davis of Coto De Caza, Calif.; one brother, Fred Howard of Jacksonville, Fla.; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 30 minutes prior to 9 a.m. services Monday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Anna C. Infantino

Anna C. Infantino, 74, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. A resident for 21 years, she was born Dec. 6, 1924, in Buffalo, N.Y.

She is survived by three sons, Charles Infantino of Henderson, John Infantino of Las Vegas and Peter Infantino of Niagara Falls, N.Y.; two brothers, Joseph Spagnola and Donald Spagnola, and two sisters, Josephine Barr and Millie Russo, all of Buffalo.

Visitation is scheduled 4-8 p.m. today in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Clifford A. McArdle

Clifford A. McArdle, of Greenfield Park, Quebec, died July 18 in Greenfield Park. A former Las Vegas resident for 15 years, he taught skating at the local rink, was a performer with the "Disney on Parade" ice show and was a former star with the Ice Capades.

Michael Andrew Parise

Michael Andrew Parise, 44, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. He was born Sept. 8, 1955, in Henderson. A lifelong resident, he was a dealer, a Little League, soccer and bowling league coach.

He is survived by his wife, Sophie; one son, Michael Sterling Parise, and one daughter, Niele Parise, both of Henderson; and two sisters, Lynda Easley of Albuquerque, N.M., and Erma Coty of Watsonville, Calif.

A memorial service was scheduled at 3 p.m. today in Christ the King Catholic Church, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Drive. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Myrna Z. Levine Pessin

Myrna Z. Levine Pessin, 57, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. An accountant, she was born June 27, 1942, in New York.

She is survived by her husband, Steve; her mother, Norma Levine, one sister, Elisa S. Krute, and one brother, Lawrence S. Levine, all of California.

A memorial service will be 5 p.m. Sunday at First Church of Religious Science, 1420 E. Harmon Ave. Valley Memorial Crematory, 745 W. Sunset Road, No. 16, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Danny M. Profit

Danny M. Profit, 67, of Las Vegas died Oct. 6 in Las Vegas. A stand-up comedian, he was born Oct. 23, 1931, in New York.

He is survived by one daughter, Vanessa Profit, and one sister, Lyla Zucker, both of New York state, and one brother, Stanley Beck of Florida.

A private burial will be in Memory Gardens. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

N. Kristine Rath

N. Kristine Rath, 45, of Las Vegas died Tuesday. She was born July 30, 1954, in Charlotte, Mich. A resident for 17 years, she was a retired insurance agent and a member of Down Syndrome Organization of Southern Nevada.

She is survived by one daughter, Melissa Angen, two sons, Wilbert Rath and Corey Fukuzawa, and her mother, Joyce Lahr, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Kendra Mascioli of Cos Cob, Conn.; one brother, Kenneth Lahr of Racine, Wis.; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Green Valley United Methodist Church, Robindale Road and Green Valley Parkway.

Raul Avila Rodriguez

Raul Avila Rodriguez, 53, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 29, 1946, in California. A resident for six years, he was a printer for Val-Pak, an Army veteran, a member of Tourin Tin and received a Purple Heart in Vietnam.

He is survived by two sons, Adam Rodriguez and Raul Rodriguez; one daughter, Brandy; his mother, Rosaria; three brothers, Ralph Rodriguez, Philip Rodriguez and Henry Rodriguez; and four sisters, Jovita Stephenson, Anita Rodriguez, Irene Barrios and Margaret Rodriguez.

Bill Ruck

Bill Ruck, 55, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 27, 1943, in Lansing, Mich. A resident for seven years, he was a retired from the real estate business.

He is survived by three daughters, Teri Ruck of Boulder, Colo., and Ashley Ruck and Alexis Ruck, both of Las Vegas; one son, Robert Ruck of Sarasota, Fla.; one sister, Lillie Marie Ruck of Tucson, Ariz.; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Robert E. Sawyer

Robert E. Sawyer, 72, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born May 15, 1927, in Fall City, Neb. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired superintendent for a manufacturing company and a World War II veteran of the Army and Merchant Marines.

He is survived by two sons, Robert R. Kaye and Kenneth M. Kaye, both of Sterling Heights, Mich.; two sisters, Jennie Cunningham of Las Vegas and Nona McAdams of Texarkana, Ark.; two brothers, Charles Sawyer of Washburn, Mo., and David Sawyer of Conroe, Texas; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until a 5 p.m. vigil today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive. Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m. Saturday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity.

Clayton Paul Thompson

Clayton Paul Thompson, 78, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 1, 1921, in Cleveland. A resident for 13 years, he was a printer, a World War II Army veteran who served in Gen. George Patton's 3rd Army, 9th Armored Division, enjoyed gambling, bowling, lapidary and coin collecting.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Bessie; three sons, Harry Thompson of Hemet Lake, Calif., Gary Thompson of Las Vegas and Dean Thompson of West Covina, Calif.; one daughter, Gail Thompson of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Charles Wharton Jr.

Charles Wharton Jr., 37, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born May 4, 1962, in Ohio. A resident for three years, he was a concrete worker.

He is survived by one daughter, Carli Wharton of Las Vegas; his father, Charles Wharton Sr. of Carson, Calif.; his mother, Patricia Sitler of Salt Lake City; and one brother, James Wharton of Las Vegas.

Miriam Eva Youngman

Miriam Eva Youngman, 78, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born April 18, 1921, in Dresden, Germany. A resident for 11 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Nathan; one daughter, Vicki Feldman of Van Nuys, Calif.; one son, Harvey Youngman of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; two sisters, Sarah Givati of Israel and Zilla Besner of Los Angeles; one brother, David Sacks of Van Nuys; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services were scheduled at 2:30 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
