BYU women shut out UNLV soccer team

The UNLV women's soccer team suffered a 7-0 loss to nationally ranked Brigham Young University Thursday night at Peter Johann Memorial Field. A crowd of 1,117 saw BYU score five times in the second half to win going away. The Cougars outshot the Rebels 30-7. The loss drops the Rebels' season record to 6-6-1. UNLV plays host to Utah in a Mountain West Conference game at 7 p.m. Saturday.
