Park Place Entertainment Inc. of Las Vegas said it started a trial of a new airport check-in service at its Bally's Las Vegas hotel-casino.
Park Place Entertainment and Certified Airline Passenger Service will offer hotel guests the opportunity to check baggage and receive seat assignments and boarding passes from two to 12 hours in advance of flight departure for a nominal fee.
If the Bally's trial works, Park Place expects to introduce this service later this year at its sister Las Vegas casino resorts including the Flamingo Las Vegas, the Las Vegas Hilton, Paris Las Vegas and, following the acquisition of Caesars World, Caesars Palace.
Park Place said it has received Federal Aviation Administration approval to begin the service.
