1st Race -- Lesgardiens - No late bid when overmatched at the fair in last, runner up in 4 of prior 5 outings, should be competitive at this level, Desormeaux/Hess team. Hell's Fury - Just broke maiden at 7-panels over this track in last, 3rd and runner up in prior pair of starts, a factor throughout. Value Play -- Missed
2nd Race -- Motto - Has finished 1st in 3 of 4 most recent outings---all on turf, draws good rail post here, Nakatani returns on Mandella trainee, found best stride on the green. Roundabout - No rally while overmatched in Del Mar Derby over seaside sod in last, 3rd in restricted opening day turf feature at Del Mar before that, in the quinella 5 of 11 lifetime turf starts with a pair of wins. Value Play -- One Man Army
3rd Race -- Gambling Champ - Wide but improved position when 5th at the fair in last, broke maiden in Anita dash in debut early April before that, drops in for a tag now, Stevens scales now on Dutton trainee. Miss Dora - Hustled, set pace and weakened to 3rd at Del Mar in last, broke maiden at this level three races back, freshened with most recent work a bullet drill on the 3rd, adds blinkers and P. Val. here. Value Play -- Sunday's Taken
4th Race -- Justin M. - Dueled lead and held 2nd at the fair in last, close 3rd at Del Mar before that, should be a forward factor for diploma, Steiner returns to help graduate. Star Colony - Early foot and tired at the fair in last, pair of bullet drills since raced off a bullet drill before last, takes blinkers off now, Sorenson takes over. Value Play -- Evanders Challenge
5th Race -- Color My Heart - Led early and gave way in last, gate-to-wire maiden breaker before that, drops to claimer for first time here, reunites with winning rider Pedroza for this. Erin's Reb - Stalked, made bid and outfinished to 4th at the fair in last, dueled lead and drew away to break maiden before that, stays at competitive level, reunites with winning rider Flores here. Value Play -- Acefromouterspace
6th Race -- Corissa's Whisper - Dueled lead and held game close runner up at Del Mar in last, dueled lead in very game photo-finish maiden breaker three races back, Antley takes over for this. Success in Excess - Another speedster who held 2nd at Del Mar in last, bullet drills continue with a trio of bests from 4 works since raced, broke maiden at Anita, Flores/Baffert combo. Value Play -- Hide The Silver
7th Race -- Riviera - Returns to races with steady works, all three U. S. starts down this hillside turf course, won first pair of outings and solid runner up in last start early March, McCarron returns on Frankel trainee, favored in all three stateside starts. Bodyguard - Another returner with steady works, has a 2nd and a 3rd in three starts down the hill, Desormeaux reunites on Drysdale trainee for return,should make late impact. Value Play -- Turkish Prize
8th Race -- Iron Glow - Drifted out while stalking early when 4th at the fair in last, troubled 6th before that, debut 3rd three races back, now drops to claimer for this, reunites with Flores now, Glow for cap and gown. Hidden Greeting - Steadied and in-tight when 5th in restricted stakes at the fair in last, stalked pace early and weakened in debut before that, drops to claimer now, hustling Espinoza here. Value Play -- Sea Kitty
