1st Race -- John's Hope - Even 5th from rail post at the fair off 10-month layoff in last, runner-up before last and a win three races back---both in close photo-finishes, drops back to competitive level now, should be ready. Bud's Golden Girl - Stalked, made bid and game winner at the fair in last, dueled lead and drew clear to win at Hollypark three races back, in the quinella 13 of 24 lifetime starts with 7 victories, knows how to win. Value Play -- Sisterbull
2nd Race -- Avian - First-time starter by Sky Classic, sharp worktab that includes a trio of bullet drills from most recent 8 moves, solid breeze on the 2nd for this, good post and trainer Saip gets Pincay to scale for debut. A La Reine - First-time starter by Alydeed, another with swift worktab that includes pair of most recent bullet drills, nice 6-panel gate drill on 9/16, good post, trainer Mandella tabs Nakatani for debut. Value Play -- Burning Hope
3rd Race -- Tricky Ring - No threat in three lifetime starts, but, has a pair of back-to-back bullet drills since raced, adds blinkers since raced, drops again in class, Puglisi sticks on Abrams trainee, hood may be the answer, hummm. Rugger - Dueled between horses and weakened in last, even 4th before that, nice recent work since raced, has shown speed in past outings and the switch to P. Val. may signal use of early lick here. Value Play -- Long Run
4th Race -- Kalookan Queen - Speedster returns to races after brief break, swift works for return, runner-up in last pair of outings, in the quinella 5 of 6 lifetime starts with a trio of victories, proven winner off the shelf, Solis returns. Lacquaria - Pressed and faded in restricted Del Mar stakes at a mile in last, won sprinting off the shelf before that, 2-for-2 at Anita and 1-for-1 at this distance, may have bounced in last, give another chance to rebound here. Value Play -- Rayelle
5th Race -- Rita Runaway - Split field when 5th while in-tight in last, claimed when outrun before that, dueled lead and 4th in debut three races back, bullet drill since raced, P. Val. now for new trainer Mitchell, may be quick return on investment. Broadway Sham - Stalked and runner-up at the fair when in need of an outing in last, returns in state-bred claimer here, needs prompt start from rail post, twice beaten favorite reunites with Flores for this. Value Play -- Bodas De Oro
6th Race -- Gold Disc - Stalked and weakened to 4th at the fair off 11-week layoff in last, gate-to-wire winner at Hollypark before that, should be a factor throughout from middle post at a mile here, Flores takes over for trainer Palma. Regal Russ - Dueled lead, steadied and outkicked when 2nd at the fair in last, won at a mile from off-the-pace at Del Mar before that, in the quinella 5 of most recent 11 outings with a pair of victories, draws rail and Vergara stays. Value Play -- Rare Catch
7th Race -- Sharan - Off a bit slowly in gate-to-wire daylight victory in U. S. debut on Del Mar sod in last, in the quinella half of 6 starts in Germany with a pair of wins, Desormeaux returns to races and back aboard here. Innamorato - 3-wide early and outrun in Grade II Del Mar 'Cap in last, solid victory before that, in the quinella 4 of 9 lifetime turf starts, winning rider Solis returns, draws good rail post for this. VValue Play -- Porbandar
8th Race -- Bold 'n Brawny - Weakened at Del Mar in last, in the money in 6 of prior 8 starts with a win, drops two levels now, Solis stays on Spawr trainee, trainer batting 67 percent and rider 31 percent at the current meet, good spot for action. Khal Me Chewy - Stalked, made bid and drew clear to win with big effort at Del Mar in last, in the quinella 5 of 8 starts this year with a trio of victories, suspiciously drops a level off the win, but, Black stays for solid repeat chance. Value Play -- Ruff Ruckus
