Florence Abramson

Florence Abramson, 84, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 29, 1914, in San Francisco. A resident for nine years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, JoAnn Beebe of Las Vegas; one son, Henry J. Abramson of Canoga Park, Calif.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

No local services are scheduled. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Jasme James Baggao

Jasme James Baggao, 70, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 29, 1929, in the Philippines. A resident for 25 years, he was a retired electrical engineer.

He is survived by his wife, Norma; one daughter, Myra Kriwanek of Los Angeles; two sons, Aaron Baggao of Oregon and Kelvine Baggao of Hawaii; two brothers, Marino Baggao and George Baggao, both of California; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Pedro A. Bartolome Sr.

Pedro A. Bartolome Sr., 73, of Las Vegas died Friday in the Philippines. A resident for six years, he was a chief security supervisor and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Antonina L.; five sons, Alfredo L. Bartolome, Abraham L. Bartolome and Pedro L. Bartolome Jr., all of the Philippines, Eduardo L. Bartolome of Saudi Arabia and Allan L. Bartolome of Las Vegas; five daughters, Luzvimirda B. Watson of England, Estrelita B. Motes of Atlanta, Norma B. Kang of the Philippines, Angeline B. Blevins of the Azores and Rosanna B. Max of Las Vegas; and 19 grandchildren.

Patricia M. Cardinalli

Patricia M. Cardinalli, 70, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. She was born April 4, 1929, in Pierre, S.D. A resident for 20 years, she was a retired Red Cross volunteer, a member of American Association of University Women, Retired Officers Wives Club, Chinese American Friendship Club, UNLV Library Board and a lifetime volunteer of the American Red Cross and was a mentor for Gamma Phi Beta.

She is survived by two sons, Larry Cardinalli of Las Vegas and Mark Cardinalli of Henderson; and one brother, Donald Dewalt of Poulsbo, Wash.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

The family suggests donations to American Association of University Women's Educational Foundation of Las Vegas.

Mogador Paul Cristiani

Mogador Paul Cristiani, 78, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 10, 1921, in Morocco. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired circus performer.

He is survived by his wife, Donna; five daughters, Valentina Buchinski of Bradenton, Fla., Linda Cristiani of Sarasota, Fla., and Laura Cristiani, Nicolle Cristiani and Alexess Cristiani, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Cosetta Cristiani and Corcaita Bowes, and three brothers, Daviso Cristiani, Belmonte Cristiani and Pete Cristiani, all of Sarasota, Fla.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Albert P. Crowder

Albert P. Crowder, 84, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 5, 1914, in Brewer, Maine. A resident for 25 years, he was a retired airline manager.

He is survived by one son, Stephen R. Crowder, and one daughter, Anne Brinkman, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Frances Philbrick of Bangor, Maine, and Eunice Crowder of Brewer; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Frank DeFrancesco

Frank DeFrancesco, 83, of Henderson died Monday in a local care center. He was born Sept. 22, 1916, in Filadelfia, Italy. A resident for 19 years, he was a retired tailor, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Brooklyn Club of Las Vegas.

He is survived by one son, Frank; one brother, John DeFrancesco of Norwood, Mass.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Holy Family Catholic Church, 4490 Mountain Vista St. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

James Roberts Dunlap

James Roberts Dunlap, 44, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. He was born June 18, 1955, in New York. A resident for three years, he was a retired Air Force veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by his wife, Tina; four sons, Dwayne, Justin and Christopher, all of Amargosa Valley, and Thomas of Mesa, Ariz.; his mother, Helen Dunlap of Ocala, Fla.; and one brother, Bill Dunlap of Lancaster, N.Y.

Robert Lee Ellison

Robert Lee Ellison, 71, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born July 12, 1928, in Tallulah, La. A resident for more than 40 years, he was a deacon at the Second Baptist Church.

He is survived by two sons, Tony Eugene Freeman and Robert L. Ellison III, three daughters, Diane M. Boyd, Sallie E. Davis and Alice Jean Ellison, one brother, Samuel Ellison, and one sister, Irene Ellison, all of Las Vegas; grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. today in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North, North Las Vegas. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.

Sheila Anne Flowers

Sheila Anne Flowers, 80, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local care center. She was born Aug. 2, 1919, in Hamler, Ohio. A resident for 26 years, she was a retired secretary for the federal government.

She is survived by one nephew, John Ritter of Houston.

Graveside services will be noon Saturday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Billy D. Fodge

Billy D. Fodge, 68, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born July 5, 1931, in Fort Castle, Okla. A resident for one year, he was a pitcher for the Air Force baseball team for 25 years and Korean War and Vietnam War Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Marian; one daughter, Karen Lofton of Las Vegas; one son, William Fodge of Colorado Springs, Colo.; his sister-in-law, Frankie Sue Del Papa; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Edna M. Gedance

Edna M. Gedance, 96, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospice. She was born Sept. 7, 1903, in Philadelphia. A resident for 54 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Maurice M.

Cecelia Gibbs, 73, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born March 1, 1926, in London. A resident for five years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Stacy Gibbs, and one son, Steven Gibbs, both of Las Vegas.

Mildred F. Harding

Mildred F. Harding, 83, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born May 25, 1916, in Lead, S.D. A resident for 12 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Leslie H. Carrera of Henderson and Lynn H. Warren of Indian Springs; and one sister, Maxine Faulkner of Chicago.

Man Him Ho

Man Him Ho, 74, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 25, 1925, in Kwangtung, China. A resident for six years, he was a retired accountant at a garment factory.

He is survived by his wife, Pui Ken Ho; one daughter, Tin-Wai Ho, and three sons, Tin-Kei Ho, Tin-Lun Ho and Kar-Leung Ho, all of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 10 a.m. services Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. Thursday in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest.

Frank Iovino

Frank Iovino, 71, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 29, 1927, in Bridgeport, Conn. A resident for 32 years, he was a retired Smith's produce manager for 24 years, a Korean War Navy veteran and secretary-treasurer of the retirement fund of United Food Workers of America Local 711.

He is survived by one daughter, Debbie and Robin, both of New Fairfield, Conn.; and three grandchildren.

Roy Allen 'Al' Jones

Roy Allen "Al" Jones, 50, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 8, 1949, in California. A resident for 10 years, he was a painter and a member of Painters Local 159.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; four daughters, Tracy, Kristy, Windra and Amoreena; his mother, Cora; his mother-in-law, Ruby Sawyer; three brothers, Rick, Ron and Rob; and six grandchildren.

A memorial service was scheduled at 3 p.m. today in the Painters Union Hall, Local 159. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

George R. Rubio

George R. Rubio, 64, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born April 27, 1935, in Los Angeles. A resident for one year, he was a supervising foreman for a paving company.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela A.; one daughter, Toni Murphy of Woodland Hills, Calif.; one son, Steven Rubio of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; several stepchildren; one sister, Rosemarie Castaneda of Mission Hills, Calif.; one brother, John Rubio of Reseda, Calif.; and grandchildren.

Franco Ruocco

Franco Ruocco, 88, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 24, 1910, in Naples, Italy. A resident for 21 years, he was a retired art dealer and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Alice R.; two daughters, Anna Lisa Ruocco and Rita Ruocco, one son, Franco Ruocco, and one sister, Jiuseppina Ardone, all of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

George W. Sharrah

George W. Sharrah, 84, of Logandale died Sunday in Logandale. He was born Oct. 9, 1914, in Missouri. A former Las Vegas resident for more than 40 years and most recently a resident of Logandale for four years, he was a retired operating engineer and World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Bernice; one son, Ken Sharrah of Santa Maria, Calif.; one daughter, Sandra Bequette of San Diego; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were scheduled at 11 a.m. today in Eden Vale Memorial Park. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.

Nikki Marie Shirazian

Nikki Marie Shirazian, 16, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 7, 1983, in Moscow, Idaho. A resident for four years, she was a student at Silverado High School.

She is survived by her parents, Ahmad and Lisa Shirazian of Las Vegas; her grandparents, Garry and Bettie See of Couer D'Alene, Idaho, Ronald and Robin Bielenberg of Palouise, Wash., and Mohammadjavad and Fatemeh Shirazian of Tehran, Iran; and her great-grandmother, Dorothy L. Peterson of Moscow.

Esther Steigman

Esther Steigman, 78, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 15, 1921, in Las Vegas. A resident for 18 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Philip; one son, Ernest Steigman of New York City; two daughters, Marlene Rantz of New York and Barbara Scott of Las Vegas; one sister, Marion Denton of Melbourne, Fla.; and two grandchildren.

Jenifer L. Stenfors, 28, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 12, 1970, in Manhattan, Kan. She was a graduate student, a member of the American Historical Society and American Association for the Advancement of Slavic Studies.

She is survived by her husband, David; her mother, Margaret Denton of Kansas City, Mo.; her father, Lyle Stenfors of Palm Desert, Calif.; and one sister, Valerie Barkley of Topeka, Kan.

A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Robert K. Toler Sr.

Robert K. Toler Sr., 56, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 15, 1943, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a technician for a burglar alarm company.

He is survived by his wife, Debra; two sons, Robert Toler Jr. and William Toler, and one daughter, Michelle Austin, all of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Thursday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. A private burial will follow.

R.G. 'Bud' Wilson

R.G. "Bud" Wilson, 69, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born March 20, 1930, in Neola, Utah. A resident for 37 years, he was a retired owner-operator of Custom Asphalt Paving Inc.

He is survived by his wife, Susie; three sons, Danny Wilson, Scott Wilson and Tyler Wilson, all of Las Vegas; three daughters, Susan Emling and Diane Wilson, both of Henderson, and Christine McCoy of Las Vegas; one sister, Carma Wardell of Gerlach; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Leon Shirley Winfield

Leon Shirley Winfield, 65, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 17, 1934, in Kankakee, Ill. A resident for several years, he was a retired chief of security at Shapiro Illinois Mental Health and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Clattie Winfield; two sons, Leon Winfield of Indiana and Daniel Winfield of Florida; two daughters, Karen Yoke of Las Vegas and Connie Harpest of Illinois.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. A private burial will follow.

Helen Sternberg Woods

Helen Sternberg Woods, 84, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born March 31, 1915, in Maco, Mo. A resident for six years, she was a retired Clark County School District teacher, a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority and PEO.

She was preceded in death by two sisters; and one brother.

She is survived by one daughter, Gretchen Winchester of Las Vegas; one son, Grant Sternberg of Newark, Del.; two brothers, Leonard Winfield and Lawrence Winfield, both of Kankakee, Ill.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
