Las Vegas area fishing report

LAKE MEAD: Boaters and shore anglers are now enjoying good action throughout the lake for striped bass and channel catfish, according to the Nevada Division of Wildlife.
Several anglers have been catching stripers around sunrise by casting surface plugs while walking along the shoreline near Hemenway Harbor. The causeway at Pyramid Island has been another productive area for shore fishing.
LAKE MOHAVE: Striped bass fishing is good at Willow Beach where boaters report they are catching stripers that weigh 10 pounds or more.
