Sprint, the dominant local telephone company serving the Las Vegas area, will publish a free magazine for new residents.
Welcome Home magazine will offer information on driver registration, utility connections, home buying and health care.
"It is a unique opportunity for Las Vegas area businesses who want to target newcomers to the area," said Jim Sweeney, who was named publisher of the publication.
Four quarterly issues will be distributed beginning in December and 10,000 copies will be circulated free to residents who sign up for Sprint phone service.
