SAN ANTONIO -- Clear Channel Communications Inc., owner of the second-largest group of U.S. radio stations, today agreed to buy No. 1 radio-station owner AMFM Inc. for $23.5 billion in stock and assumed debt.

Clear Channel has four FM radio stations in Las Vegas. They are KQOL FM-93.1, with an oldies format; KFMS FM-101.9, country; KSNE FM-106.5, adult contemporary; and KWNR FM-95.5, new country.

Those stations were acquired by Clear Channel when it bought Jacor Communications Inc. in May.

Clear Channel also holds a 29 percent interest in Hispanic Broadcasting Corp., known as Heftel Broadcasting Corp. until a name change in June. HBC operates two Spanish-language stations in Las Vegas, KLSQ AM-870 and KISF FM-103.5.

AMFM Inc. does not have any radio stations in Las Vegas.
