I just found out that the IRL ran in your backyard last weekend. Did anyone show up or is Tony George out looking to buy tarps (to cover the empty seats) as you guys suggested? Tony was probably in the stands passing out free tickets.
Then Sunday, he pulls the rug on the CART-IRL merger talks. Now honestly, did anyone really think he was serious?
He played CART for suckers. All he wanted was more publicity for his own series. I saw this one coming for months.
The man is a weasel, saying anything, meaning the opposite, pocketing the money and the power while keeping his butt covered.
He is the (rash) of the racing world ... and we're all stuck with him.
