Letter: IRL principles are sound

Don't you guys realize that a large part of the attendance problem is due to the negative, cynical press the IRL has received the past four years? Ron Kantowski's column goes way beyond what happened on the track. It's a political statement for CART and unification.
The basic principles on which the IRL was founded are sound and ultimately make much sense in promoting the long-term growth and popularity of the sport.
Why don't you promote the IRL race in your community? People will come if you so-called experts give them half a chance to learn about the IRL in an accurate manner.
