AMF tourney at Sam’s Town

After an 18-year absence, the AMF Bowling World Cup returns to the United States Sunday-Oct. 9 at Sam's Town. Now in its 35th year, the World Cup features the top amateur men and women bowlers from up to 90 nations. After opening ceremonies beginning at 3 p.m. Sunday, action gets under way Monday at 9 a.m. The semifinals are Oct. 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the finals are Saturday with the stepladder finals from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
