Roy Bartels, 61, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born May 22, 1938, in Shell Lake, Wis. A resident for seven years, he was a retired farmer of 40 years in Shell Lake.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Faye; two daughters, Suzi Butkus and Ann Marie Butkus, and one son, Ronald D. Butkus, all of Las Vegas; one sister, Ellen Mortenson of Rice Lake, Wis.; two brothers, Herbert Bartels and Philip Bartels, both of Wisconsin; and two grandchildren.

Lloyd Louis Benton, 76, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born July 15, 1923, in Oklahoma. A resident for 27 years, he was an engineer.
He is survived by his wife, Clara; one son, Dennis Benton of Houston; two daughters, Nancy Benton and Connie Thatcher, both of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Dorothy M. Brown, 77, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 5, 1922, in Texas. A resident for 33 years, she was a hospital registered nurse.
She is survived by one daughter, Betty Hinton of Las Vegas; two sons, Orage E. Hinton of Las Vegas and Eddie L. Brown of Texas; two brothers, Lee Andrew Brown and Andrew Lee Brown, and one sister, Othie Lee Temple, all of Texas; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Wednesday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in American Burial and Cremation Services. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Oline E. Brown, 83, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local convalescent center. She was born Feb. 4, 1916, in North Dakota. A resident for 37 years, she was a homemaker, musician and avid bridge player.
She is survived by her husband, Grant O.; one son, Grant O. Brown of Las Vegas; and two sisters, Audrey Stenson of Fairfield, Mont., and Karol Little of Carlsbad on the Sea, Calif.

Nick Caparella, 87, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 10, 1912, in Italy. A resident for 22 years, he was a shoe repairman, an Army veteran and a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by his wife, Josefina; two sons, Michael Caparella and Richard Caparella, both of Washington, D.C.; two brothers, Joseph and William; two sisters, Viola D'Agostino and Lucy Bianchini; and two grandchildren.

Dan Carney, 60, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 24, 1939, in Wisconsin. A resident for 30 years, he was a pipe layer for Stover Construction.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley; one daughter, Anita Carney of Las Vegas; one son, Dan Carney of Washington state; four stepchildren; and six grandchildren.

Susan Alice Civittolo, 67, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 15, 1932, in Connecticut. A resident for 14 years, she was a die cutter in the silk screening industry.
She is survived by two sons, Carmen Civittolo of Las Vegas and Joe Mantanaro of Connecticut; and two sisters, Rose Maglio of Las Vegas and Angie Ventresca of Connecticut.

She is survived by one daughter, Gretchen Henry of Boulder City; one sister, Rosamond Hill of Washington; and two grandchildren.

A resident for seven years, he was a retired secondary school teacher and coach, a World War II Army Air Corps pilot, a Los Angeles County probation officer, a sales representative in the construction field, a graduate of Columbia University and Southwestern University School of Law, enjoyed athletics, golfing, computers and woodworking.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne; one son, Stephen Franklin of West Hills, Calif.; and one daughter, Betzi Hart of Grass Valley, Calif.
Services were scheduled at 9:30 a.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., followed by graveside services in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Russell P. "Rusty" Gray, 66, of Henderson died Thursday in Halfway, Ore. He was born Aug. 22, 1933, in Slayton, Texas. A resident for 34 years, he was a retired owner-operator of Accuracy Gun Shop and a Korean War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Anita L.; two daughters, Belinda Cox of Las Vegas and Mary Spurlock of Henderson; three sons, Chris Gray and Rickey Gray, both of Henderson, and Russell Gray Jr. of Las Vegas; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She is survived by one sister, Dorothy A. Woods, and one nephew, Frederick Woods, both of Las Vegas; one niece, Amberdawn Rogers, one great-niece, Gabelle Danae Rogers, and one great-nephew, Elias Anthony John-Rogers, all of Lincoln, Neb.

Aline Widell, 63, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born May 4, 1936, in Kennett, Mo. A resident for 40 years, she was a retired hotel cashier.
She is survived by one son, Mark Curci of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Billy Wolfenbarger
Billy Wolfenbarger, 71, of Boulder City died Friday in Boulder City. He was born Oct. 12, 1928, in Clayton, N.M. A resident for 39 years, he retired from the Bureau of Reclamation as a contracting officer after 43 years and was active with Lend-A-Hand.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; three sons, David Wolfenbarger of Chandler, Ariz., Bruce Wolfenbarger of Bellevue, Idaho, and Ned Wolfenbarger of Las Vegas; one sister, Twila Goodding, and one brother, James Wolfenbarger, both of Farmington, N.M.; and three grandchildren.
Services were scheduled at 11 a.m. today in Grace Community Church, 1150 Wyoming St., Boulder City, followed by graveside services in Boulder City Cemetery. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, handled arrangement.
