Man shot at convenience store dies

A man shot along with his son at a downtown convenience store earlier this month died at University Medical Center Sunday.
Juan Lopez, 39, was shot near 21st and Fremont streets on Nov. 11, police said. Police found Lopez's son, Juan Lopez Jr., 18, also shot at that location, and both were taken to UMC with critical injuries, police said.
Juan Lopez Jr. remains hospitalized according to police, and detectives have not determined a motive or identified any suspects in the shooting.
