Hughes executive moving to Colliers

Michael Newman has resigned as vice president of commercial leasing at Howard Hughes Corp., the largest developer in Las Vegas. Newman will retain his current position until the end of the year.

Newman could not be reached for comment.

A Hughes Corp. spokesman said the company intends to "maintain the position and hopes to have a replacement announced soon."

The spokesman said Newman is moving to real estate brokerage Colliers International.

Colliers' managing director Jim Stuart could not be reached for comment.
