Running of the Bulls sued over unpaid bill
Friday, Nov. 26, 1999 | 11:03 a.m.
Ahern Party Rentals sued Running of the Bulls America and owner Phil Immordino of Phoenix, alleging they failed to pay $19,832 for party rental equipment and services they used for the second annual Running of the Bulls event July 7-12 in Mesquite.
In a Clark County District Court suit, Ahern alleged the defendants had insufficient funds in their account to cover $15,906 in drafts they tendered on four occasions between July 7 and July 15 to Ahern.
Immordino could not be reached for comment.
The running of the bulls features hundreds of participants running in front of 1,000-pound bulls. It is modeled after the historic running of the bulls in Pamplona, Spain.
