Las Vegas detective agency manager sued over missing funds

Friday, Nov. 26, 1999 | 11:04 a.m.

Professional Investigators Inc. and a private investigator sued Natasha Doyel, its former manager, alleging she misappropriated company funds and made unauthorized personal charges with corporate credit cards.

In a Clark County District Court suit, plaintiff Thomas Dillard alleged Doyel, who resigned on Sept. 27, 1999, had allegedly agreed between 1998 and 1999 to personally pay for any personal charges or advances made to corporate credit cards.

The suit alleged Doyel had also forged Dillard's signature on a document provided to the office of the Attorney General, Private Investigator's Licensing Board, while submitting an application for a private investigator's license using unauthorized company funds.

Doyel could not be reached for comment.
