John William Ackloff

John William Ackloff, 81, of Las Vegas died Nov. 11 in Las Vegas. A laborer in the dairy industry, he was born Oct. 2, 1918, in California.

He is survived by one daughter, Katie Leige of California.

Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Carl Anderson

Carl Anderson, 83, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born April 2, 1916, in Red Oak, Iowa. A resident for seven years, he was a retired postal worker and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Maxine; one son, Craig Anderson; one sister, Maxine Celander of Des Moines, Iowa; and two grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., handled arrangements. Services and burial will be in Iowa.

Jack C. Benanti

Jack C. Benanti, 70, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 8, 1929, in New York City. A resident for two years, he was a retired Navy petty officer and World War II and Korean War veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret; two sons, John Phillip Benanti of Palmdale, Calif., and Michael Francis Benanti of Lancaster, Calif.; one daughter, Carole Ann Barnett of Las Vegas; one sister, Geraldine Risso of Fairfax, Va.; and six grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 1-5 p.m. Sunday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.

Irene S. Blice

Irene S. Blice, 96, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 29, 1902, in Scio, Ohio. A resident for 37 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Marilyn Beiler of Las Vegas; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday in the First Presbyterian Church, 1515 W. Charleston Blvd. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

The family suggests donations to the First Presbyterian Church Music Ministry, 1515 W. Charleston Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89102.

Paul Edward Burger

Paul Edward Burger, 81, of Henderson died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born March 22, 1918, in Iowa. A resident for three years, he was an electrical engineer and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by one daughter, Janet Patton of Henderson; one sister, Alice Berry of Iowa; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

No local services are scheduled. Burial will be in Mississippi. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

JaSeann J'Quaunn Culver

JaSeann J'Quaunn Culver, 5 months, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born June 15, 1999, in Nevada.

He is survived by his parents, Willie and Margarita; one brother, Marcus Durrell Wilson, and one sister, Asia Auford, both of Mississippi.

Services were scheduled at noon today in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Manfred Louis DeLuca

Manfred Louis DeLuca, 48, of Las Vegas died Nov. 16 in Las Vegas. He was born June 22, 1951, in France. A resident for one year, he was a laborer for a printing company.

He is survived by his mother, Maria; and two brothers, Pasquale and Wilson.

Frank J. Del Vecchio

Frank J. Del Vecchio, 78, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 5, 1921, in Rochester, N.Y. A resident for 23 years, he was a retired experimental machinist for Lockheed Aircraft for 25 years, a local security guard for five years at Holiday Inn, a World War II Army veteran, a member of the National Rifle Association, Paradise Democratic Club, Italian Catholic Federation 305 and Sons of Italy and enjoyed bocce.

He is survived by his wife, Lena Young Del Vecchio; three daughters, Angela Amoroso of Agoura Hills, Calif., and Roxann Hoffman and Diann Lebsack, both of Las Vegas; four sisters, Mary Barbato, Theresa Mingoia and Rose Scarfia, all of Rochester, N.Y., and Fanny Pellegrini of Sepulveda, Calif.; two brothers, George Del Vecchio of Rochester and Angelo Del Vecchio of North Hollywood, Calif.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. services Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Burial will follow at 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Memorial Park.

Irving Eisenberg

Irving Eisenberg, 74, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 13, 1925, in New York City. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired government quality controller, a World War II Army veteran, a member of Daylite Masonic Lodge 44 F&AM, former member of Masonic Lodge 635 and past patron of Eastern Star 622, both in Riverside, Calif.

He is survived by his wife, Marion; three daughters, Barbara J. Purdy of Albuquerque, N.M., Evelyn B. White of Riverside and Julia A. Herrera of Long Beach, Calif.; two brothers, Archie Eisenberg of Hackensack, N.J., and Howard Eisenberg of Reno; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Robert H. Glendinning

Robert H. Glendinning, 53, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 25, 1945, in California. A resident for 29 years, he was a heavy equipment operator, a Navy veteran and a member of Operating Engineers Local 12.

He is survived by one daughter, Amber Glendinning; his mother, Roberta Weir; two brothers, John Fay and Rio Fay; and two sisters, Rio Harnett and Cecilia Johnson.

Charles James Manthei

Charles James Manthei, 73, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 7, 1926, in Illinois. A resident for 21 years, he was a truck driver and a Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Dolores; three sons, Thomas, David and James; one brother, Frances Albert Manthei; and three grandchildren.

Services will be noon Saturday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Gerald Ellis McLeish

Gerald Ellis McLeish, 55, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 20, 1944, in Colorado Springs, Colo. A resident for eight years, he was a slot technician, did home remodeling and repair, was a Vietnam War Air Force veteran and a member of Telephone Pioneers.

He is survived by his wife, Theadora Marie; two sons, Sgt. Paul McLeish of Fort Wainwright, Ala., and Christopher L. Straiter of Temple City, Calif.; one daughter, Paula D. McLeish Stephenson of Latonia, Ky.; one brother, Gordon Petrie of Cleveland; one sister, Verdella Johnson of Helendale, Calif.; and six grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Friday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Burial will follow in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Edward Neuman Sr.

Edward Neuman Sr., 76, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born June 29, 1923, in Arkansas. A resident for 47 years, he was a painter, a World War II Army veteran and Purple Heart recipient and a member of Painters Local 159.

He is survived by one son, Edward P. Neuman Jr. of Overton; three brothers, August, Andrew and Charles; two sisters, Tillie Griggs and Lizzie Kern; and two grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 12:40 p.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

June D. Patrick

June D. Patrick, 73, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born June 11, 1926, in Kentucky. A resident for one year, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Hein of Las Vegas and Pamela Suhre of Tucson, Ariz.; two sisters, Faye Wright of Dayton, Ohio, and Jeanette Barnett of Branson, Mo.; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Grant S. Truman

Grant S. Truman, 68, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. He was born May 12, 1931, in Utah. A resident for 26 years, he was a hairstylist, former owner of Beauty Crafters Hair Salon and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra; one daughter, Cindy Cole, and one sister, Doreen Wickman, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Reed Truman of California; and one grandchild.

Joseph Arthur Welch

Joseph Arthur Welch, 59, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 12, 1940, in Lincoln, Neb. A resident for 36 years, he was a member of the Teamsters Union and a member of American Association of Retired Persons.

He is survived by his wife, Lyric; two sons, Vincent Joseph Welch and Victor William Welch; one daughter, Cindy Dee Welch Palmer; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service was scheduled at 4 p.m. today at the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St. Valley Memorial Crematory, 745 W. Sunset Road, No. 16, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
